Hot take: the senses of superiority complexes among modern witch communities really don't help anybody.
The burning times, natural born witches, deity work is not for beginners... personally, I think all of these (misguided) ideas stem from a place where some people would look for and grab onto anything, however misled, just to feel special and superior; to set themselves apart from others; to somehow feel like they're more powerful witches than other witches.
We are people who practice crafts. We are not better than those who don't.
There are those who are naturally more "sensitive", who do have "gifts". But they would exist with or without witchcraft. Just like there are people who are musically talented, artistically talented, or mathematically talented.
We may be witches, but we are still as mortal and human as everyone on earth.
