Killua wanted to hurt Gon, but Gon never seemed to be hurt– at least, the pain he experienced wasn't being caused by Killua. Instead there was a pervasive melancholy to Gon's entire being, a bittersweetness that suggested that whatever verbal abuse Killua hurled Gon’s way, Gon felt like he deserved it.
It made Killua furious. He wanted to jam a dagger into Gon’s heart and twist, but all Gon did was grab Killua's wrist and gently guide the blade in deeper. He had a sad smile across his face while he pulled, too.
It was disgusting. It was pathetic. It was like Killua was somehow losing a fight against someone that wasn't even trying, and that in his continued efforts, he only further cemented his defeat.
Gon never smiled anymore either though. The only way he expressed any sort of emotion was in those big, brown eyes. Those eyes told Killua that his entire world was aflame and he was too numb to do anything about it anymore. He was just watching the ashes fall to the ground.
What is Witch Hammer? Find out below!
Witch Hammer is a story about the bravery needed to love, and to be loved. It's a story about the pain that inevitably comes when you care about someone, and how you move past it.
Set in the backdrop of a fantasy universe with a lot of historic inspiration, there's swords and early firearms and lots of very silly clothing with big poofs and lots of frills, and some very big hats with some very big feathers.
There's magic, too. You pray to whichever Star is in the ascent and they'll kindly bless you with a fraction of their power-- or maybe they don't even know you're there, and they don't give a shit about you. Maybe they bless people with life, or maybe they are callously indifferent to the plights of humanity. Lots of people argue about that particular issue.
Her lower body bends in a way that's quite uncanny to me. Maybe the artist focused too much on the upper body or her boobs that the lower part bends in a weird way.
Gon from Witch hammer, my friend's @malleusmaleficent story that you can read on ao3. His culture is based on Turkish, i like him so much, was inspired to make a few sketches of how his outfits back home could look like. The color palette for blue shirt and mother-of-pearl little buttons, as well as to add more little stars and clouds at first one is mal's ideas
