The Witch Of Causality OST (Fan-Made)
Here is going to be the master-blog thread that will compile the audio for all of the different custom tracks I've made for each chapter! I am also uploading the files to a Google Drive folder and providing the links if anyone would like the high-quality versions to download (some of them I cannot upload in HQ due to file limitations on Tumblr). I tried and failed uploading some to YouTube, but unfortunately many were blocked and not viewable due to copyright reasons (makes sense though).
Again, as a disclaimer, I did not create or claim ownership over any of these tracks. It's simply a fun little project to make custom tracks for my fic!
(it's also worth noting that these may not be suited as true companion pieces when reading since many of the songs may not be long/short enough to accommodate for reading speeds and scene lengths. Think of it as a score for each scene and such.)

Wait no, so I've been cooking since reading this ask. (sorry I'm at work, so I'm juggling thoughts around whole trying to find time to respond).
So like, I imagined when she was young, the other witches put fish heads in her bed when she wasn't around and would constantly antagonize her with dead fish in so many different ways. And maybe something like, her and Rosa only ever got bad fish as scrap food (because prison lolsie) So not only does she never want to eat fish, she can't stand looking at them.
BUT... Jeanne was trying to help her overcome the fear growing up. So she made her the 'fish fear me' hat and would take her fishing to just get over it. Is she? Absolutely not, she just hides it so well. She's stone face, not moving, staring back into the eyes of the dead bass, but is fucking screaming on the inside lmaooo
The fish hat for longer though after Jeanne died, she added to it out of anger and angst lmaooo

Aight, I'm curious and want some opinions from y'all.
For 'The Witch of Causality', I've been throwing together various tracks different medias and mediums to make a fun little 'custom OST' if you will because I'm fucking crazy and also soundtracks and instrumentals in general help me write and form scenes alone. So having dedicated edited tracks for each chapter helps with the process and makes it fun to come up with new ideas! (My Spotify playlist that is just the OST songs that I save to use/listen to later is over 15 hours...)
So that being said, would anyone be interested or care to have these edited files uploaded somewhere, if anyone wants something to listen to while reading the chapters or just curious about the music for each chapter? You can be very honest, I want a solid answer only because I would have to hold myself to making tracks for all chapters (some I've done, others I haven't, some I'm even revamping) and I don't wanna spam or do all of this is there isn't any sort of interest lol

To again clarify, I'm not making this music from scratch, it's literally edited together preexisting OSTs from games/movies/shows/other to quell the demon (my attention span) so I can write stuff. I have a question for Causality. Is Luka ever going to appear or is he straight up irrelevant and doesn't appear?
Yeaaaaah, he's not really gonna appear in this fic and has no relevance to the story at all. I had debated about going back and adding a line or two to an early chapter mentioning him and where he's at? But he might literally only appear once at the end in a important way.
He just didn't fit in the vibe/theme of the story I'm going with, so he will be a no show!

helllooooooooooooooo i am very very late to getting back to this, im so sorry...lmao.... I had to think about this one a lot because in general I was pondering different 'fears' they would have overall and maybe not just water/ocean/lake/etc based fears?? like just ridiculous fears they have, on par with Bayonetta's fear of cockroaches. The General being afraid of fish is really funny, and I do love the idea of her just being scared of fish (for hc reasons it's sad as to why lmao ofc). For Torzu-Ror, I can't recall if it was just water all together??? I probably did, I can't remember I'm sorry 😭😭 But I imagined her being very afraid of toads (hinted at in the dinner scene in the fic, Torzu-Gra's 'little friends' lol). I want to imagine the Lumen Sanctuary actually has a decent amount of water, even for being in a desert and she knows how to swim. But the toads?...no, she is not a fan lol So she limits going swimming whenever Jeanne is around. As for the Thief??? Idk it's funny or not but I was thinking bunnies. lol. Maybe in her youth when she was learning how to do performative magic, she tried the old trick of pulling a bunny out of a hat but it did not go well and bit the shit out of her. Now she can't stand them and refuses to ever try and learn that trick again lol It isn't much, and I struggled to think of any water-based fear she could have 😭 but it was fun to think about and try and come up with some others!!
