Pennies
Back in 2012 Canada stopped the production of pennies and removed them from circulation. And since then the pile of pennies has been steadily increasing, I keep finding them everywhere! So I decided to find a use for all these perfectly good coins, and witchcraft had me covered.
So here are some ways to use the dusty hoard of pennies under that couch cushion.
Other Names: Cent, Cent Coin
Can Be Found: See afformentioned couch and under furniture. Also, ask others to set aside any they might find around their house, politely of course.
Sign: N/A
Planet: N/A
Element: My personal correspondence is the element Earth because of the metals it's made of and because of the heavy associations with the dead and the underworld. I wasn't able to find a generally accepted universal answer.
Deities*: Hermes, Hades, Thanatos, Charon
Use For: Love, Luck, Wealth, Protection and Offerings to Spirits.
Spell Idea: Enchant a penny with your intention before tossing it in your local wishing fountain, giving your wish and your luck a little boost.
*A lot of deities accept coins as offerings or are otherwise directly associated with money, but these ones in particular are the ones that are relevant to me

Theft ain't cool, and will get you blocked and reported, and also possibly cursed.
🍯☕️healing/cold remedy potion🍯☕️
This is really great for cold season, and even if you don’t charm it, it will still boost your immune system a ton!
what you need:
1 lemon, 1 glove of garlic, 1/8 tsp cayenne, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp ginger powder or fresh minced, 2 spoonfulls of honey, 1 clear quarts, 1 citrine, hot water
wash and cut your lemon in half. squeeze out all of the juice into mug
mash and mince garlic, add to mug
add dry spices
add honey
stir until a thick paste develops
pour in hot water until the mug is full
stir clockwise with dominant hand, chant “Bring health to my body/ heal my mind and soul too. strength and wellbeing/ make it anew.”
repeat chant twice, then once with quarts in hand over the mixture, then once more but with citrine
this can be pretty strong and spicy, so either add as much water as you please or keep water on hand while drinking!

If you need ideas for Midwestern aesthetic, I can help you out. Lots of windmills, abandoned/falling apart barns, corn fields, rolling green hills for miles and miles, deer wandering around, dirt roads, small wooded areas. At least, that’s my experience in small Midwest towns. Hope that’s helpful ☺️
that is super helpful thank you so much!!
Does anyone know where I can get herbs/crystals/other materials for a cheaper than normal price? I'm just starting out with this stuff and I have no idea where to go, and I'm not exactly like... super rich, so, if anyone has kind of a cheaper resource, I'd love to hear about it lol
CALLING ALL SPIRIT WORK WITCHES
This month marks an entire year since I've discovered witchcraft and I am truly grateful for all that I have learned and all the fantastic people I have met in this journey! That being said, I have strayed away from picking a particular craft because I wanted to learn everything and see what interested me most And with that, I have finally made my decision and that is that I want to start spirit work/divination Yes, I understand the risks and that not anyone can just jump right into spirit work, but I have always felt that the craft was calling for me and no matter how far I strayed from it, it would come back So if there are any spirt work witches who could give me tips or advice on where to start, as well as what tools I will be needing I would greatly appreciate it! If anyone has any blogs that I should follow for that particular craft, then please let me know!
Spell to Awaken your Inner Fire You will need - small square of red or orange fabric - yellow ribbon - candles - cloves - cinnamon - ginger - frankincense - black peppercorn - garlic skin You can use these herbs to create incense and/or to create an herbal spell pouch. The aroma of the herbs is warm and strong. I felt the need for this spell because I want to evoke the aspects of Fire within me: action, passion, warmth, strength. The spell, when cast on a new moon in the first half of the year, grows with the power of the sun and the moon. As the sun gains its strength this time of year, so does this spell. Hopefully it works as well for you as it does for me!
