Holiday time!

Guys I am so excited! Me and my beautiful other half are going on holiday to Sintra in Portugal to visit the Quinta da Regaleira or as some of you may know it as the place that has the initiation well! It’s been on my bucket list for years and I can’t wait to go!

Saying that though I hate the thought of flying! So tonight am going to be looking up travel spells and which stones to bring along with me! (Malachite is the number on contender!) I can’t wait to go and take lots of pictures and take some study books on witchcraft and tarot and chill out!

Also the place we are staying is this super cool eco friendly hostel! It’s called the Almaa Sintra Hostel and it is so cool!

Safe to say I am very excited guys! Obviously gonna miss the heck out of our fur baby but sadly we can’t bring him along!

.Banishing unwanted thoughts spell.

Purpose: To banish unwanted and intrusive thoughts from oneself.  

When to cast: Last Quarter or Full Moon

Materials: Black Candles x 2                   Banishing powder made from:                   Black pepper, Agrimony, Anise,                   Bay leaves, Rosemary, Angelica Root, Black Salt.                   Paper & pen.                   Fire proof dish.                  Crystals: Obsidian and Tigers eye.

Steps to perform:  Prepare your ingredients and cast your circle. Place the fire proof dish before you and set the black candles on either side of the dish and light them. Set your crystals around the dish. Using the paper write down what intrusive thoughts you wish to banish and as you fold it into quarters repeat the words.

“I banish these intrusive thoughts, Cast out, they vanish like smoke. The daily onslaught will cease to be As I will it, so mote it be”.

Place the paper inside the dish and pour the banishing powder over the top of it. Using one of the candles set the piece of paper alight and watch it burn. As you watch it catch light imagine the intrusive thoughts burning up and turning into smoke. If you have an open window watch the smoke vanish through it and imagine all the thoughts that plague you flowing out with it.

Allow the candles to burn out, you can take this time to meditate on happier thoughts holding the crystals you set out in the palm of your hand. Finish the spell by pouring the mixture outside and sweeping it away.

Banishing powder.

Going to be doing a spell soon for banishing unwanted thoughts and negativity from my life and thought I would get a powder with all my ingredients ready and waiting. I am still working on the spell itself but i hope to have it ready for the next new moon on November 18th, a perfect time to cast some banishing spells.

My Grimoire! Just a few snap shots. Its no where near finished, lots of blank pages, but we are forever learning that's the beauty of this craft <3 

Again I bought this from Etsy by the lovely company MagickalDragonfly. I then created the pages in Photoshop CS4 and printed them out!

Previously my BOS/Grimoire’s have been hand written but I have trouble writing so this was perfect for me. It also means I can remove and rearrange pages (like the moon page, right at the front of the book so it doesnt fold over correctly, I will be moving it further into the book).

And sorry guys for the awful photos, iPhone does not like it when you have a tremor in your hands >_>;;;

This is my first ever @witchcasket ! So many amazing things!!! A gathering bag, crystal grid cloth and this adorable mini spoon!! Am just!! Eeeiii!! My husband thought something had happened as I ran screaming up the stairs with the box! This is so lovely! I truly recommend anyone who can purchase a witchcasket to do so, so many nice things!!

Drawing all the wall was always fun as a kid but now I won’t get a smack around the back of my legs for doing so!! I am lucky to have my own dedicated witch room and since I want my space to be protected I decided to draw symbols and words of protection on to be walls. It was all hand drawn so a lot of it isn’t perfect but I still like it! Let me know if you can read what it says!!

Bought an amazing book case for my witchy room! It’s so pretty and has some gorgeous wooden carvings. And now I have a place to display my books and herbs!
