Hey guys, so my affirmation for this April is beneficial change. Spring is the perfect time to plant any ideas or habits you want to keep and after that last moon on Saturday, I think (my) energy needs a little changing! SOOO I decided to make my morning routine a natural habit since it sometimes falls off if I'm having a bad start (and that’s okay!).
I wake up at 4:30 am (sometimes it’s 5 or 6, then this usually goes out the window, but I’m trying to change) because I read Miracle Morning and got inspired.
At 4:30 I wake up to my alarm all the way on the other side of my room so I can’t just hit snooze and go back to sleep
Right after that I switch into my workout clothes (that I laid out the night before) ~ witchy idea: maybe make a little affirmation spell or have a list to reference from to help set an intention for the day
I do some light yoga or sometimes the 7 minute workout (twice)
I drink a cup of water (I tend to forget this part a lot)
I get into the shower with my phone and only open up Spotify, NO SOCIAL MEDIA (I find I have a more productive day when i don't spend an hour in the morning scrolling mindlessly) ~ witchy idea: use this as a cleansing and grounding time, imagining the water as cleansing and drying off as grounding.
I’m usually in the shower by 5:45 and out around 6:12 -ish. This gives me enough time to get out and maybe read up on Buddhism/write in my grimoire/do a tarot reading/plan my day in my bullet journal/just read a book in general. It switches up a lot! ~witchy tip: if you love your little potions (teas/coffees/etc) this would be a good time to include these for some extra good vaibz
This is something new I’m trying to include: do a little ritual for the netjeru around 7:40 - 8:00 or just meditate and talk to them
Most definitely at 8:25 I start making breakfast. I live in a large family so I usually have to make breakfast for everyone else which takes a while.
By 9:30 I’m ready to take on the rest of the hours and accomplish whatever goals I have for that day!
I think how you start your morning determines how the rest of your day goes and I like to start off doing things that make me happy and feed my soul!
NOTE: I’m still in school (for 1 more month!!!!!) so this only applies to breaks and weekends. I still do most of these things before school, just not sitting down to read or write :/
Hope this inspired you all! I love you and have a good day ~ Namaste!
Look out for a night routine!
