— waves that break with that of power and strength,

yet a feeling of calm, the gentle hoofbeat within one’s heart.

like the pull of the tide!

from the deepest parts of the ocean, to the glistening sweet water rivers that flow,

a shield from the storm in silent kelp forests only the seals know.

haunting songs of the whales ask,

does one fathom the depths of their own soul?

accede to be embraced warmly by the currents of change

unveil and heal those shadows hidden beneath and in time; trust in what can only be felt.

I love being a Poseidon devotee.

Sitting by the ocean, feeling the coolness of the wind on your skin and hearing the waves crashing against the shore before receding back.

The pure calmness that washes over you.

For only a moment, no thoughts, no fears no overwhelming emotions.

Just an internal peace.

Like a whirlpool that has disappeared into still glistening undisturbed water.

Capitulated by the mesmerising shimmering of the light from Helios as his rays gently touch the water’s surface.

Feeling that unspoken, unexplainable connection strengthening every second, with every breath of fresh ocean air that you take in.

You are safe, protected and loved.

You are with him and he is with you.
