beverly was smarter than this usually, always know where she was or at least had a ride home. but tonight, neither of those things were in her favor, plus being in the middle of nowhere didn’t help. she hugged her jacket closer to her body, walking for a few minutes. most lights were around her and a payphone was about a block ahead. but, she still couldn’t figure out where she was. once getting to the payphone, she started dialing a number and hoped he’d answer.
