Guys, JACKSON is the lizard thing! NOT Lydia!

Don't you remember in season one, The Magic Bullet, when Derek stabbed Jackson in the neck, and then some weird thing happened where this claw thing came out of Jackson's mouth?

It was the same claw as the lizard thing.

AND THEN, when Jackson and Lydia kissed, not only do we know that she was not effected by the Alpha's bite, so there must be something strange in her cells, but he also got bitten by Derek.

So, in conclusion, those two things mixing together in one body created something like a chain reaction, which caused Jackson's change to go wrong. It wasn't right.

As for Lydia not changing into the lizard thing, well, her "immunity" was not mixed with someone else's cells. So in Jackson, we had her "immunity", Derek's bite, and Jackson's own body. A conflict which ultimately made things, like I said, go wrong.

The Ship that Holds Itself Up had to hold itself up against Jackson the Lizard Man. Yes, that is what I am calling him now.
