Yet another Heart request, this time from witheringvaporware! Popular Aspect, I guess. Well, here’s Page of Heart!
Heart indicates personality and individuality along with romance and emotions.
Pages struggle with learning the ways of their Aspect, but have the potential to become the unequaled masters of it.
A Page of Heart must struggle to find their own sense of identity, but will one day achieve incredible popularity and charisma.
Lurking at the edge of every clique, soaking in the popularity by proxy, you’ll find the Page of Heart. Like most Heart players, the Page is a heavily extroverted person, but they lack the social skills or personal charisma to truly attract any significant amount of friends. This wouldn’t be so bad if the Page wasn’t so utterly convinced of their own social prowess. They hang around groups of people more interesting and popular than they are and think themselves among peers.
The Page may not be very interesting alone, but they do have one little thing that grant them an ‘in’ with the crowd of their choice. What exactly this is can vary, but it’s usually some skill, talent, or possession that the others in the group value enough to let him hang out with them. Maybe he knows how to fix their computers, or always brings video games, or has some really neat trick to show off. Whatever it is, it’s usually enough to at least have him be considered a member of the group, if a fringe one.
If left to their own devices, the Page of Heart would be perfectly happy with this state of affairs for the rest of their lives. It takes something jarring them out of complacency to realize their own flaws. Maybe they overhear somebody complaining how annoying they are, or they come across somebody who refuses to talk to them or be their friend. Maybe it’s something subtler, the slow, creeping realization that none of their ‘friends’ would come help them in a crisis. Once this happens, the Page embarks on a journey of self-exploration, carefully examining each part of themselves to try and refine their personality into something that meets their expectations of themselves.
The journey to full realization is always a long and arduous one for Pages. The Page of Heart needs to take a good, hard look at themselves and figure out what part of themselves they need to change to become a better person. This isn’t all introspection; they need to interact with others, throwing their soul into contrast with those who are more socially developed. Over the months and years of cultivating a stronger sense of identity, the Page will learn the subtleties of interaction and the secrets of personality. He will cultivate within himself a burning passion for becoming better, stronger, for holding his will strong against the forces seeking to change him. Even more, he can incite this passion in others with his fevered speech, his experiences making him a fantastic orator and leader.
Next up is the fun part: Powers! This section might be a little shorter than usual, since Pages don’t get powers pre-Realization
Pages can cultivate their Aspect in others to raise armies... eventually.

A Page of Heart can strengthen and empower the souls of others.
The Page of Heart’s lessons in strengthening his own soul certainly reaps some fruit all on its own. In times of dire need, they’ll be able to flare their soul’s power to damage all around them in an explosion of will. But they are only one person, and their soul is only so strong.
The true power of the Page is to pass these lessons along to others, teaching them the techniques to channel their soul’s power as a weapon. Because Heart is such an individual Aspect, exactly what each person gets is hard to predict, but each one grows stronger with their passions at their peak. Even better, these powers grow stronger when many are used at once, their souls resonating along the links that connect them to their allies. Every indvidual who joins with the Page’s army brings something fresh and new to the table, strengthing the whole both literally and figuratively.
