Hi there! I saw on your most recent post you doing some anatomy practice. I saw you did these little segmented lines throughout (mostly on the limbs). What's that do for ya? When in the process do you draw them?
Most of the lines drawn in my anatomy practice are to either indicate form or direction/gesture. I use a single line to show where the limb is going to be, then I fill in the form and use those curved, segmented lines to accentuate the form so I get used to seeing my bodies in a more 3 dimensional manner. It’s all just extraneous lines, if I’m gonna be quite honest, but it helps me get a feel for it more and envision the form a bit better.
I don’t quite remember my first crush, but Callie was a pretty early one (hell, I named one of my grils after her) I blame her for getting me into cat chicks
Who is one (or more) artist(s) here on Tumblr that you think deserves more attention?
@khecks@hillarybradfield@alliartist@jaymork@markyanna@bethpecoraart
What (if anything) do you have in-common with your characters?
Some of my characters I have more in common with than others. Eve is bitchy and generally dislikes people. So we have a lot in common.
We can both be summoned from the depths of hell with specific rituals too.
Thanks for this blog. I really needed to smile today.
that’s why i made it, i’m glad it works!
First impression: I wonder if she looks anything like her icon? Y'know, minus the purple skin and all that. Now: Don't know for sure, but probably not.
I might.
It’s fur by the way.
It's not selfish. No matter what anyone says, no artist works ENTIRELY for themselves. Anyone who sticks to that line is just being pretentious. It's important to get acknowledgement and reciprocation for your efforts, no matter what you're doing, and a lack of that can be hard to deal with. Keep on keepin' on, and be a little more forthcoming about wanting feedback and you'll get it. I promise.
thats not really what i was talking about but thanks for your support. I appreciate it.
