Short Synopsis:
There is the whole strand (West Coast) of the abstract movement that fell/wasn't as favorable as the line drawings of/predominant in (East Coast) the movement underway in New York City.
Onslow was an independent thinker/creative. He believed the fourth dimension was consciousness itself, which was always evolving. He was also among Abstract artists who aligned more with Jung, the majority who aligned with Freud. Also, you had Einstein's 4th dimension theory as Time itself.
This is the kind of meaty context that Integral Theory loves to discuss. Perhaps in further inquiry, I can create a dialogue uniting the differing understandings of the 4th dimension, and also the Freudian/Jungian debate.
As time permits, I hope to write a bit of an introduction.
