It's stunning how comfortably white women will balance wanting to go to India to "find themselves" and still being racist as fuck. Like these are women who think that the only reason locals exist is to facilitate self-absorbed journeys into spiritual expansion, not like they have individual lives and purposes. Or they'll straight up hate brown people but will still go to India because they covet the knowledge enough for selfish reasons they can manage to separate it from it's creators and teachers. Like yeah it's unfortunate that the prospect of achieving spiritual enlightenment comes at the cost of being surrounded by hordes of brown people :(
