❝----- are you REALLY sure that this will work out? ❞
Tease Me. [[ Because remember the old days where all they did was flirt with each other. /shot. ]]
Tease Me: my character will tease yours, whether in a friendly or a sexual manner.
The BSAA charity event was being hosted at town hall. BSAA operatives, field agents, superiors, and intelligence alike, were expected to be there. It was a white-collar event. Sheva herself would be presenting a few awards to benefactors of the organization.
Sheva was nervous, of course, as she had always been when speaking at a public event. But she was excited as well. What better time to tell the world about how great of an alliance the BSAA had been? She had been with them for nearly ten years now, loyal to them as they had been to her. It was her time to thank them for all they had done.
The agent looked her very best, sporting a form-fitting black dress of silk. Her wavy chocolate locks were pinned so that they rested on her right shoulder. Naturally toned make-up graced her face, illuminating her copper hues. A simple diamond necklace nested just above the curve of her breasts.
She had a plus one for the night. The man she had expected to say 'no' when she invited him, but surprised her. At the sound of the door opening behind her, Sheva quickly turned. She smiled at Billy who was dressed in a black suite with a dark grey button-up underneath. His hair was slicked back, face cleanly shaven. He smelled of musk and cologne.
"Wow," Sheva breathed, "You... know how to clean up... well."
Nervously, Sheva glanced down at her attire, pressing her heels together. "I actually was wondering if you could help me with something," she said quietly, turning her back to him. The zipper hung low on her back, just barely showing the top of her black lace panties. "Could you help me zip up?" she asked, glimpsing over her shoulder at him for a moment.
She then looked to the mirror in front of them for a moment. She felt for just an instant his cool, rough finger make contact with her warm skin. Sheva watched through their reflections as Billy's gaze lingered on her bare skin before finally zipping her dress up and breathing out as if he'd been holding his breath the whole time.
Smirking, Sheva turned to him, taking his chin in her hand. The brunette pulled him into a hard kiss, wrapping her free arm around the back of his neck as her fingers laced through his hair. Finally pulling away from him, her gaze met his, "You've been surprising me quite a bit lately..."
She paused, anticipation building. A soft blush rose to her cheeks - she was no good at this flirting thing. But, hell if she didn't try.
"Maybe you'll get a surprise, too, when we get home," Sheva winked.
[ Can I just say that Sheva-muse is like crying because she always feels like she is alone in this world and both Billy and Chris offered to accompany her to Africa to find answers about her past and that means the absolute world to her right now? ; u ; ]
Italian, Mexican or Japanese food? [[ Shh, he's not plotting anything, okay. ]]
"Well I do love pasta... but I think tacos and burritos take the cake," Sheva nods with a playful wink, "So I'll have to go with Mexican."
[ That's all I can chug out for the night, but I will try to get to the following people's replies tomorrow:

Sorry it's taken me forever to get to these, I promise I haven't forgotten about you guys! ]

”Are you going to tell me what that voicemail was about?”
"Well.." [ Sheva paused, looking down. ] "I had a check up with my doctor and she called me to have a personal meeting with her. I was worried is all..."
So.
[ Sheva shifts uncomfortably under the weight of his gaze. ]
So?
AU Drabble Request || A Little of the Good Life
The sun was shining brightly through the kitchen window as Sheva looked down at her hand almost in disbelief. A silver band lay over her ring finger right beside another ring with a diamond in the center. She was no longer Sheva Alomar, but instead her records showed Sheva Mallory.
And even that wasn't right.
Sheva Coen. That was correct. And Sheva couldn't help the slight smirk that came to her lips with the thought. No papers filed away deep inside the government's databases would ever know her as such, but she knew that that was who she was now. That was who she would be until she breathed her very last breath.
It felt as if she was in a dream for the past five years since they'd been married. The world, no matter how many obstacles were thrown their way, felt as if it was perfect. Sheva released a soft breath and looked up at the window. Outside, a Blue Jay sat upon a branch in the back yard. It chirped pleasantly and pecked at the branch it stood on a few times.
Small footsteps were heard rushing up behind her and before she could turn around, arms were wrapped tightly around her lower thigh. She smirked and looked down to see a full head of dark hair, feeling a warm cheek pressed to the side of her leg. "Good morning, Mommy," her son spoke warmly, looking up to her at last with the biggest goofy grin on his button-nosed face.
"Morning, Jamie," she chuckled as the little boy finally released her leg. She crouched down onto her knees and placed her hands gently on her son's shoulders, "Four years old today, huh? That's a pretty big step. Pretty soon you'll be in high school with all the other big kids."
He laughed. And it was the most angelic thing she had ever heard. Even she couldn't believe that with being an agent, she had managed to raise a family - and to keep her son untouched by the horrors of this world. "Not that old, mommy," he answered, shaking his head. He looked around then, searching for something.
"Daddy's in bed sleeping still," she answered his unasked question. She knew her son better than he knew himself, it seemed. He smiled at her, revealing his missing front tooth and all she could do was smile back at him devilishly, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
James didn't waste any time in answering her question, he simply turned and headed over toward the staircase quickly. Sheva laughed softly, shaking her head as she stood and followed right behind him. The bedroom door creaked softly as the small boy pushed it open. And from their position behind it, both could see the large man sprawled out underneath the sheets.
Billy was snoring - which he only did when he was conked out. Lying on his stomach, his dark hair was a mess with his fingers entangled in the locks. Once more, Sheva squatted beside her son and narrowed her eyes at Billy as if she were about to pounce. James had the same adventure-seeking gaze as his mother.
"Kupata naye!" (Get him!) she whispered to the young boy as he ran toward the bed and climbed up, jumping on top of his father. Sheva stood and crossed her arms over her chest, tilting her head a bit with a satisfied grin. Billy groaned tiredly, before laughing and turning onto his back, grappling James and giving him a noogie.
" Oh no! Oh no!" James howled as his feet flailed about, "Mommy, help me!!"
Sheva snickered at him, her nose wrinkling just the slightest bit, "Sorry, Jamie - you're out of luck. Daddy's always been Mommy's kryptonite..." Billy looked up at Sheva with a tired grin on his face and she winked at him. After all they'd been through, it was funny how they'd ended up here.
So in love.
So happy...
James escaped from Billy and sat upright on the bed, laughing for a few more moments before he finally calmed down. Billy looked over to his son who had inherited his pale blue eyes and charming grin, "It's your birthday today, isn't it? What're you, twenty now? Don't you think it's about time to move out and get a girlfriend?"
"No," the boy gleamed at his father, "I'm only four!" He held up four fingers to further his point.
"I know, I know. I'm only joking, kiddo," Billy replied with a small chortle, patting his son's shoulder. He stood then and strolled over to Sheva, placing his hands on her hips and pulling her close to him. She stood on her tip-toes, planting a ginger tip upon his lips. "Mm. Good morning," he murmured to her.
Sheva's cheeks warmed at the way he said it to her. Incredible how after all these years, he still had that effect on her. "Yuck!" James exclaimed after the kiss, jumping up and down on the bed.
"Hey, no jumping on the bed," Sheva said sternly, "You know better than that, Jamie." She walked over to him and scooped him up into her arms, placing him on his feet on the floor, "Plus, I think it's about time to open your birthday presents, don't you?"
The boy nearly exploded at the word and rushed back down the stairs to the living room where he planted himself patiently on the couch. Sheva chuckled and walked with Billy, grabbing the wrapped box they had hidden in the closet. She handed it to James and stood beside Billy in front of him, looking down lovingly at her son as he eagerly tore through the wrapping paper.
Opening the box then, James' eyes lit up as he fount what was within. He pulled a small baseball glove from the box and immediately slipped it on his hand. "Awesome!" he yelled, jumping from the couch, "Dad, can we play catch?"
"Of course we can," Billy responded, before looking over to Sheva and rubbing her shoulder softly, "That is, if your mom's alright with it?"
"Please, mommy, pleeease?" Jamie begged, going so far as to cling to her leg once more.
"Hmm," Sheva tapped her bottom lip with her index finger as if she were thinking long an hard about it. "Well I suppose, but you'll need a couple more things if you really want to play ball," she finished, looking about for something before finally returning with a baseball and a ball cap with the letter C on it.
She handed the ball to her boy, then knelt down to place the cap on his head. "The C stands for Coen... Usisahau unatoka wapi."
James smiled, "What's that mean, mama?"
"Don't forget where you come from, baby," Sheva replied, kissing him on his forehead before standing. She felt Billy's arm around her shoulders again. "Why don't you go warm up out in the back and Daddy will be out in just a second," she told James and without hesitation, he practically flew out the back door.
"He's a good kid, Sheva," Billy said once the back door slammed shut. His cerulean eyes shifted to her and a sideways smirk came to his lips. His fingers glided along the smooth mocha skin of her upper arm<, "You did good."
"We did good," she corrected him before kissing his lips again. And once more for good measure. No, Sheva would never grow tired of this life. This was everything she had ever dreamed of. "Now go give your son the best birthday ever..." she smiled brightly and let him go.
