ink: what do you do to “set the mood” when writing?

music, coffee, nicotine. i am a walking cliche, my friend. i also like to make moodboards/scour pinterest to get the gears a’ turnin’.

narrator: what pov do you like writing in best?

third person limited, but i like writing from multiple characters’ pov in one story (obvs). 

notepad: can you write anywhere or do you have to be in a specific place and mood to write?

i can write just about anywhere as long as i have music or quiet. i usually end up writing in my office, but coffee shops, my bed and the couch are also contenders. 

trope: what’s a pet peeve you have about writing?

inspiration is so finicky and can just leave at a moment’s notice. i’ve definitely lost steam with BOA because of it (among other things), and i have so many wips that are gathering dust bc whatever made them interesting to me has gone into hibernation for the moment.

Did I just read that they wanted to avoid your period so they scheduled you a month later? A gyno could not foresee any issue with that?

It was like 2.5 weeks later, but my period is SUPER irregular, so the bitch popped back up just in time for the reschedule. Sometimes I bleed for like 2 weeks straight then go 4-5 months without one. Sometimes it’s 4 days here, again three weeks later for 5 days, again week later for 2-3 days, etc. 

Basically I’m a mess and all over the place, which is kinda why I wanna “shut this confused baby factory down” (those were the exact words I told my doc when talking birth control) so yeah. But I was successfully probed today. Yay?

I know I know there’s way too much text but there’s SO MUCH to love about this story: (1) ‘a ghost story that my daddy tells me’ wtf baby Jared; (2) ‘I should have slept for probably 12 hours’; (3) ‘just us and... plants’; (4) the fact that it’s S1 and they’re both about to pass out from sleep deprivation (look at Jensen’s wide eyes in gif 2 he’s like DO NOT SLEEP DO NOT SLEEP). Also the Texan accent but for that you’ll need to watch the video (it’s worth it).
