⊱asks for muns with a multimuse or more than one muse⊰ || @withpryde ( accepting )
1. is there a muse that you wish gets more attention?
It changes? Sometimes I have more muse for a particular character, sometimes it’s another. A good constant is Shou. I’ve had him on my roster for a long time, but I barely get to write him, even though I love his character. Maybe once I find a good rl fc for him, it’ll be easier to pair him up. Besides Shou, I’d say, at the moment, I’d love more interactions for Elise, Ha Won, Si, Lei, Oliver, and maybe some plotted things for some of my private muses, like Sophie, Scorpia, Rin, Cordelia, and Artemis. Overall, I appreciate any attention my muses get, no matter which one.
12. what is something everyone should know about your muses before interacting?
That very much depends on the muse. For some, it’s good to know that their backstories contain some triggering elements which may come up in writing (I’ve been thinking of ways to incorporate that in the bios — which I still have to update in general — and I do tend to leave out heavy elements if the other mun is not familiar with that muse or hasn’t requested them, bc if you request a muse like Ellie, for example, I assume you know that she curses a lot and that her backstory contains a lot of triggers). In general, I’d say you should know that I, like many others, have my own interpretations of the characters I write. Some of my headcanons, vocalisation, and characterisation might not be what you had in mind when you watched the series/movies/playthrough or read the books they’re from. But most of all, I respect and love all of my muses, so I suppose what you need to know is that I try to do my best to do them justice :)
17. do your muses get along with each other?
Hmm I’d say most of them would, but there are exceptions. Some would only tolerate others. Some would take a LONG time to warm up to others. Garrett, for example, can be a very friendly, caring guy, but in his main setting, he’s far from open to socialising and acts out in sarcastic ways. Vyria is one of those people that only few can stand. She’s incredibly chaotic, twisted, childish, and can be very cruel. Hades, Si, Lei, Ellie, Elise, Kaldur’ahm, Papyrus, Mizuki, Wanda, Oliver and Maelys are amongst the others who all have different reasons for being less approachable or not everyone’s cup of tea. Every muse has their quirks, but these are some that would have more difficulty getting along with some of the others or for others to have more difficulty getting along with them.
30. most importantly, are you having fun playing each one of your muses?
Good question haha Short answer (followed by more words than intended): YES! I love each and every one of my muses. When I pick up a muse, one of the qualities I look for is whether they have something that sets them apart from my other muses — besides just choosing based on whether I want to write them or not. I’ve had muses that had a lot in common with other muses on my roster before, and it often resulted in me losing muse for one of them, because I would feel like writing a certain plot/dynamic for the one muse, would come down to a similar experience with the other muse. Similarly, mutuals seemed to favour one muse over the other, so one of them would barely get any interactions, anyway. Of course every muse is different in their own right, but I disliked feeling like I was ignoring or leaving out a muse that I still loved. It’s helped my muse in that sense to at least try to maintain a sense of balance in my roster. Having so many different perspectives to write from and voices to interpret is one of the things I love the most about writing. There’s a muse for every mood and dynamic.
