sending you a bunch of these and also an apology for sending so many - 1, 4, 5, 9, 10, 14, 17, 18, 21, 23, 26, 27, 30, 32, 34, 42, 60, 64, 67, 69, 84, 87, 91
I answered a few of these already, but here are the others:
4. What is your life goal?
If I had to pick just one “life goal,” I guess it would be to live a Christian life—to do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with God; to love my neighbor as myself; to be a disciple. That’s a life-long endeavor, for sure.
5. Do you have any expieriences with a famous person?
Not, like, movie star famous. I once went to a book signing with my mom for this guy who writes New Mexico crime novels (I can’t even remember his name). At the time, I was selling bread to raise money for a trip, and probably being super obnoxious about it, but the author took a shine to me. So he told everyone there to buy bread from me, and signed his book to me with something like “What a gal!”
9. Do you have any cool talents?
That depends entirely on how you define “cool.” I can give the geometric proof of the Pythagorean theorem (AKA Euclid proof I.47) from memory.
10. Are you a morning person?
Kind of. I need a lot of sleep, so if I don’t have enough and have to get up at like 6 AM, I am going to be super cranky. But I think my most productive/alert time of day is mid-morning.
14. Do you care about your follower count?
I do not. I rarely even check it. So if you’re worried that I’ll notice if you unfollow me, I guarantee I won’t notice! I did fairly recently break 1000 followers, which I think is pretty cool.
17. Do you have any pets?
Yes! Two cats—a flame point Siamese named Kabegami, and a fat black cat named Dulcinea—and one little dog named Emma Lu.
18. Are you religious?
Heh. See the name of my blog and also question #4.
21. What is one of your bad habits?
I bite my nails. I’ve gotten better about it, but I still give in to temptation sometimes.
23. What would you name your children?
If I have a daughter, I want to name her Adelaide. It was my mom’s middle name before she got married, and I really like it. As for a boy, my husband and I once had a long hypothetical conversation about it (this was back when we were dating), and the only boy name we could both agree on was Link. So… let’s all hope I never have a son.
26. Dogs or cats? I like both. I was always a cat person—we had cats growing up, and I do love cats. The dog we have now is my first dog, and I unexpectedly fell completely in love with her. She is totally devoted to me, and it’s a nice feeling to see how happy she is whenever I walk in the door.
27. Most used social media besides tumblr?
Probably facebook, although I don’t use facebook that much. I use gchat way more, if that counts.
30. Chocolate or sugar
How is this a dichotomy? Just go make brownie batter without the raw eggs and eat it with a spoon.
32. Do you like rollercosters?
Only wimpy ones. Basically, the rides at Disneyland are as far as I’ll go on rollercoasters. Wooden rollercoasters give me migraines, and anything with too much g-force makes me nauseous.
34. What would you do in the event of an apocolypse?
If we’re talking about, like, a zombie-style disaster, I’d probably call my loved ones and say goodbye, because I am not going to survive that. If we’re talking about actual end-of-the-world, Son of God descending, cosmic battle apocalypse, I’d like to think I would be in full pastor mode, providing guidance and comfort to people.
42. Favourite song right now?
I’ll interpret this as “song currently stuck in my head,” to which the answer is “What’d I Miss?” from the Hamilton soundtrack.
60. Are you close with anyone of the lgbtq+ group?
Yeah. One family member who’s a lesbian, and one who’s ace, as well as close friends who are gay, lesbian, and trans.
67. Which tv character do you relate to most?
I’ve been rewatching 30 Rock, and I’m sad how much I relate to Liz Lemon.
69. If you received enough money to never need to work again, what would you spend your time doing?
Honestly, I would probably way play too many video games.
84. If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
Ooh. Tough choice. If you go to the past, you at least have some idea what you’re getting into, but you run the risk of altering the timeline (not to mention dying of something you have no immunity to). If you go to the future, you might get to experience cool futuristic stuff, but you might also find out the future is a dystopia. I guess I’d pick future.
87. Would you rather live in the city or the woods? Why?
Probably city, although it depends on the city. I like having lots of things (restaurants, stores, theaters, etc.) around.
