I'm adopting this (because I want to) but how do you pick only two lines, @fuckboyregulus??? Should have made it "too many lines Tuesday" for my benefit.
“My uncle left me some money. I got myself a flat and a bike.” Sirius placed a finger under Remus’s chin, pulling his head up “Do you want a ride?”
“Yes,” Remus said without hesitation. “On the bike, too.”
Please note the change in rating and chapter count.
Sirius was covering the distance between them in long strides–when had Sirius gotten so tall?–and Remus only had moments to take him in. Black boots, one unlaced, tight black trousers, a t-shirt for a band Remus was fairly certain he had never heard of before, the black leather jacket–
The black leather jacket Remus had given him the summer before. He was wearing it. He was wearing it in the summer. He was absolutely crazy, but he was wearing it.
Remus only had a moment to look at his sparkling grey eyes, and the way his face lit up as he looked at Remus, before Sirius was in front of him.
For @goodboylupin‘s candy hearts challenge. My candy hearts prompt was LIKE YOU.
Remus is a muggle, but the boy down the street might just make him believe that magic is real.
(part 1 of 2. part 1 is T rated, but part 2 will bump the rating up to E)

There was a park down the street from their house that Remus’s mum let him play sometimes. Now that he was eight, he was old enough to go on his own as long as he stuck to the sidewalk and was home before the streetlights came on. It was his own little adventure, and he loved every minute.
Remus would trail his fingers along the fence as he walked down the street, counting down the numbers of each house between his (Number 16) and the park. His favourite house was number 15. It was tall and looked a bit like it was smiling in the fading afternoon light. Number 14 looked grumpy, with a porch that made the perfect moustache to his imaginative mind. Number 13 loved to paint the shutters so often that Remus wondered if they did it by magic. Number 11 was stately and statuesque, and Remus couldn’t help but think of it like the old school marm looking over the rest of the street.
There was no Number 12 on Grimmauld Place. Isn’t that peculiar?
(from Summer Boys, which I'm spending some time working on today)
Sirius was laying on his back, looking at the ceiling intently. Remus was looking at Sirius.
“You put up stars.”
“Oh, yeah.” Remus turned so that he was laying flat on his back next to Sirius, looking at the stars on the ceiling of his room. “Mum let me put them up for my birthday this year.”
“I like them.”
"I do too. I spent a lot of time–"
"Wait, is that…? " Sirius pushed up on his elbows, staring at the formation of stars directly over the bed. "Is that my constellation?"
(wait, did I actually find only 3 sentences? 😮 From Summer Boys, my muggle!Remus fic)
When they were tucked under the covers together, it felt like they were protected from the outside world. Remus pulled the blanket over their heads, shielding Sirius from whatever harsh reality drove him to climb through Remus's bedroom window in the middle of the night. In the darkness, their hands were pulled to each other until they threaded together between them.
They returned to the park on the last day of summer. They could have stayed in Remus's room, tangled up together between the sheets, but there was something about laying in the grass in the park that just made it feel like summer was complete.
Remus was laying with his head on Sirius's chest. He was supposed to be looking at the stars, as they did every year, but Remus couldn't even bring himself to look anywhere other than at Sirius. Who needed the stars when Remus had a whole universe in Sirius's eyes?
"Are you excited about going back?"
A soft smile spread over Sirius's face, and Remus tried to memorize the way the corners of his lips lifted, storing it up for the days when Sirius would be a world away. "I am, but not as much as most years."
"Really? Why?"
Sirius raised his head so that he was looking down at Remus with one eyebrow lifted. "Really?" Remus shrugged, and Sirius shifted them until he was on top of Remus, slotted between his legs with an arm on either side of Remus's head. "Because of you, Moony. Because I don't want to leave without you this year."
Remus felt himself blushing. "Oh."
"Oh." Sirius shook his head, laughing slightly. "You're really adorable, you know that?"
"Shut up."
Remus pushed on Sirius's arm, and he crumpled into a pile at Remus's side. Sirius didn't move away, but lay curled against Remus. Sirius was facing him, and he was laying so close that Remus could feel his breath on his cheek. Now Remus couldn’t look away from the sky and the stars there, as though looking at Sirius might just cause him to implode.
(It’s 1 am and I just wrote this, and I’m cackling at it. I’m sharing it before I’ve had enough sleep to have the good sense to delete it.)
18+ below the cut please!
(This is the morning after they’ve gotten off together for the first time)
"Good morning."
Sirius looked at him from under sleep heavy eyes. "Hi."
Remus thought that Sirius was beautiful in the early morning light, but he didn't say it. He didn't dare. After last night's confession, he thought it was best to keep it to himself.
Sirius shifted as though he was planning to move off of Remus, but Remus put a hand flat on his back to keep him there. Sirius instead rested his chin on Remus’s chest and smiled up at him. Remus shrugged. “I don’t want you to move.”
Sirius bit his lip, as though holding back a smile. “Even though I’m poking you?” Sirius rolled his hips forward, and both boys gasped slightly at the feeling of their skin sliding together.
“First off, no. I would like you to keep poking me.” Remus shifted slightly so that he rested hard against Sirius. “Look, we have a matching set.”
Sirius snorted, then rolled on his back laughing, pulling Remus over on top of him. “M-fuck, Remus. You are the cutest, I swear. Was there a second off?”
“Well, I’m hoping so, if you’re interested.” Remus rolled his hips against Sirius, and the friction between them sent sparks through Remus.
Sirius let out a sound that was something between a laugh and a groan.
(because we're making daily writing sharing a thing)
“I can’t believe I have to go back tomorrow.” Sirius spoke a little faster than normal, but Remus didn’t mind. “How is summer over?”
“You love going back each year.”
“Well, yeah.” Sirius turned to face him. “But I miss seeing you when I’m there.”
“I miss you too, Sirius.”
They looked at each other, small smiles on their faces, until they both turned to look at the sky.
"I found your star." Remus surprised himself by saying it, not really intending to share this secret, but it slipped out anyway.
"You–found my star?" There's something between awe and surprise in his voice.
"I did. I had to look it up in a book, and then I waited until December." I pretended that you were here with me then. Remus didn't say it.
"That's–"
"I know, it's really dumb. Sorry. I was just missing you and–"
"–really nice."
Remus stopped his anxious muttering. "Oh."
"Do you think of me often? When I'm gone?"
Remus couldn't look at Sirius, though he knew the boy had turned to face him again. Remus thought Sirius might just learn Too Much if he did. "All the time."
"Me too. I think about you too."
They were quiet after that, and when they said goodbye at the end of the night, Remus could still hear I think about you too playing on repeat in his head.
