Sirius Black Headcanons - School Years
• Sirius never actually meant to be in Gryffindor, it wasn’t until he met a messy hair boy with horn rimmed glasses that he saw a better way
• He met James by accident - he’d happened to pick the right carriage at the right moment just in time for Severus and Lily to walk by
• Sirius for the first few months living at Hogwarts had a strong Indian accent, his parents mostly spoke Gujarati around the house, only ever speaking English when they were in public
• James was the sole reason Sirius wanted to be in Gryffindor, he found a soulmate in the form of a best friend when they fought against Severus on the train
• Peter and Remus slowly joined the group as days went by, being grouped together in a dorm room felt like destiny. Peter naturally squeaked his way into the group but it was Sirius who got Remus to warm up to them
• Sirius has bad insomnia and spent the first year at Hogwarts barely sleeping
• Sirius got his first detention for hexing Slytherin for making fun of Peter, it wasnt the only time he’d gotten in trouble to sticking up for his friends
• It was Remus who noticed the fading bruises and scars left on Sirius after their first winter break, he tried to get Sirius to talk about it but he just brushed him off, it wasn’t until their fifth year when Sirius returned with a limp he couldn’t hide and a black eye that Remus had him tell them everything
• Sirius was beaten and locked away for a week after his parent discovered that he wasn’t in Slytherin
• Sirius was almost expelled for getting into a duel with Regulus - he refused to harm his brother and took the brunt of the attacks
• Sirius was naturally considered a flirt, but he hardly ever dated, he’d gone on a few dated with Marlene but his heart had always belonged to Remus
• He grew his hair out long after his second year, refusing to apply to his mother ideals and customs for him any longer, by the time he was in his 7th, his hair had grow past his shoulders
• It was Sirius who discovered that Remus was a werewolf, it wasn’t hard after their lesson about magical beasts, especially when Remus was practically dying from it by the end of their first year
• Sirius spent the summer of his first year learning everything and anything he could about werewolves
• Sirius got his first tattoo in his fourth year, on his ribcage is a moon and as the days pass, the tattoo changes, eventually turning into a full moon. He got this tattoo to help him keep a count during the holidays when he’s stuck with his family
Wearing Your Emotions On Your (Tattoo) Sleeve: A Galaxies and Greenhouses Oneshot
Because I’m not quite ready to let go of my Phan Hogwarts AU yet... I’ve started writing oneshots within the same universe!
To read my Hogwarts AU, Galaxies and Greenhouses, from the very beginning, you can click here!
To read the first oneshot set in the same AU, Wearing Your Emotions On Your (Tattoo) Sleeve, you can click here!
Here’s a quick sneak peek of what you’ll find in the new oneshot:
“Phil, I’ve changed my mind, I don’t think I want to do this anymore.”
Dan attempted to dig in his heels, but the older man’s grip on his wrist was too strong as he guided them through the crowded path of Diagon Alley, full of families shopping on a cloudless Saturday afternoon.
“Oh, no, you don’t,” Phil called over his shoulder as he kept up his unrelenting pace, nearly running into a signpost as he looked back until Dan tugged on his arm and steered him away from danger at the last second. “We both agreed to do a forfeit if we didn’t get the new PINOF video posted on time, so you’re not backing out now.”
“But just because we agreed to a forfeit doesn’t mean we had to let our viewers choose what we have to do!” Dan whined as they narrowly avoided a wizard levitating a towering stack of parcels in front of him. “Or did you forget that tattoos are permanent?”
1978: Permanence
“I think I’m getting a tattoo”
“Hello Alice, how are you today? I’m fine, thank you Arthur, why did you so rudely barge into my office without knocking? I’m sorry, would you like a cuppa to make up for it? Yes, actually, that would be lovely, thank you.”
Alice Fortescue shoots her friend a death glare as Arthur Weasley sighs and summons a coffee pot and mug, pouring his friend a coffee with a flick of his wand and sending it to her with another. She groans as the liquid hit her lips, draining the cup in one go.
“Rough night?” He asks sheepishly, leaning on the door of her cubicle. He is met with a heavy sigh as she looks back down at the mounds of paperwork on her desk.
“Four raids, look forward to paperwork about finger biting rings they are loads of-tattoo?
If I was a wizard I would get a tattoo of a compass on my arm that could actually tell the direction
I wonder if wizard tattoos work like their pictures and paintings do…like moving and stuff…like the dark mark…was that tattooed on or was it just a spell or are they born with it or what?
Do wizard tattoos move?
