Lup made Taako’s wizarding hat when he became an official wizard (that’s how that works right?) it’s easily the most precious thing Taako owns. To thank her and also congratulate her for becoming an official wizard as well he uses his magic to fully and permanently transition her. Bonus head canon: After they realize that smaller and less complex life can be brought through worlds on their travels Taako starts collecting cool flowers and plants from all the worlds and putting them in his hat.
