Pokémon GO for it! - Kirblog 12/3/16

Pokécember 2016 kicks off with some new Kirblogs about the beloved 20-year-old franchise! Starting with our first discussion, I'm joined by my friend and neighbor Crystal Kan to talk about the mobile phenomenon that is Pokémon GO...a game of which I've still NEVER actually played. Crystal on the other hand has played it quite extensively! So, for this weekend's Kirblog we talk about the lead up to the game's launch, its earlier days over this past summer, how it took over the world and what's so appealing about it in the first place as a Pokémon experience!

Taking Criticism - Kirblog 2/20/16

Thanks to a great question from Harry Milner, on this week's ‏Kirblog we get real on a particularly tricky topic...taking criticism. Those who've followed my online animation 'career' for a long time, might know that I have a reputation for not being able to take criticism very well. In the past 5 years in particular, I've learned a whole lot in my time working on things like TOME and even some recent projects. With the start of 2016, I've been lucky enough to have a lot of great feedback from my colleagues as I work to improve myself in animation, acting and writing. That said, I still have ways to go. I've got a lot of stories to share and I hope my experiences will not only help anyone listening to this, but that it'll also serve as proof of my continuing journey.
