*clears throat* so in a particular far off dm chat with the elusive @axanathewizard and the sinful @chronoverge ,we were discussing a modern au about the wizard falling down a seemingly ‘innocent’ hole, only to realize they come across grandfather spider and his children and everything beforehand, the wizard themselves are an adopted child of grandmother raven n mellori (yet they dont know the origins of the raven nor spider huhue), and the spiral is basically earth split up into continents?? sorta?? this is a grey area so bear with me ^^;; the continents have scattered and scared shadow fragments that are are amongst the continents of where shadow reigns (like dragonspyre, celestia, zafaria, avalon, azteca, khrysalis, etc.), and within a world where light reigns supreme and is impaired and imbalanced, it doesn’t do much effect unless the wizard grows in power, that is. (and err, also a grey area as well, but we also discussed how grandmother raven n spider probably battled it out to the death before the spiral’s creation [cue the ‘First World’ age] and she sealed Spider into the hole. yet again, inconveniently, the wiz finds em. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) so, any thoughts? you all can simply add on n stuffos if you’d like ^^!
