Do Jimmy decorate his pot himself or did he get Tango to do it?
He can't really go outside so he mostly gets his collection from poking his head around when bored, or Tango bringing him things. Jimmy did do the nets and beading himself.

I was thinking about ranchers today (like every day), and I remembered your wlfau and omg dryad jimmy. I miss him. He's so dramatic and elegant.
He wasn't allowed to yell at Tango's boss.
I know I say it every time but I will eventually get back to wlfau, I'm just super stressed right now catching up with everything that had to be done last year and can really only draw things that are easy and relaxing, and while I love wlfau it is not exactly either of those.
i miss wlfau jimmy so much i drew him. hope u liek
Ough, the baby boi.... he is so small, so precious...
Absolutely obsessed with your wlfau!! I browsed the whole tag and saw that you answered an ask about it a while ago saying that Jimmy is practically a fae and considers Tango his
Can you elaborate more on that because I am such a sucker for dynamics like this!! I sit here already giggling, kicking my feet looking at all the stuff you made. I absolutely love your art and all the ideas and AUs that you have
It's pretty simple, really. One day they'll have a really awkward conversation to get through.
Does jimmy love all plants? Or does he not like certain ones like cactus or the stinky ones?
some of the plants are very rude and he doesn't like them. He's not a fan of mistletoe since it's parasitic. Otherwise he generally gets on with most plants, he's basically their caretaker.
Unrelated, I was double checking it was mistletoe and not holly that's parasitic and I came across a plant called Hydnora? Mario bros movie mushroom wannabe looking mf, more proof scifi writers/designers need to be more creative when they can't make things look even half as strange and the things you can just find out and about on earth. Sorry pet peeve rant over.
Different anon but does wlfau jimmy have any modern perks he enjoys?
I know he would much rather be outside in a forest but is there any modern amenities that he enjoys?
I like the idea that he likes processed candy like chocolate bars or other things that are purposely wayyyyy too unhealthy for him, but that's just a personal head canon lol.
Even if he doesn't understand them he likes computers and technology. I'd say he likes most modern things, he doesn't understand enough to know why Tango specifically has a refurbished 40 year old fridge with the cool computer parts yanked out, he just thinks it's cool it keeps things cold. He likes being so high up like the birds, he likes that the house can control its own temperature.
He likes most of the food, in his day foreign spices were rare and you couldn't eat much out of season. Jimmy is for the most part quite pleased, and not in the system enough to understand all of the ways its awful under the hood besides how he sees it effects Tango. The things he can see are things he's experienced before, too, even if in a different form.
The only thing he genuinely doesn't care for is being in a pot because it means no worms and Tango has to get him food and soil. It's a very pointlessly labour intensive way to live.
I just see jimmy sitting in the sunlight being totally happy and tango is just curiously watching and amazed by how the light seems to stick to jimmy. also idk i kinda imagine jimmy with this beautiful leave like wings where the light shines through also do the flowers on jimmys head kinda translate into flower speech?
Jimmy's wings are somewhere between plant and bug
They are inspired by flower language, yes! Though I won't say what emotions they specifically correspond to, you'll have to figure it out. (I tried to do some more specific ones in my example reference just to see if I could)
jimmy caretaking routine?
He could probably do half of these on his own even at his size but he demands Tango's attention and some days it's the only thing that gets Tango to step away from his work.
