My ideas for Skam India:

Skam India. Set in Delhi. Cinematography of old Mughal monuments, New Delhi architecture. A city that has witnessed the history of colonialism, dynasties of rulers and globalisation. A city of many religions, each celebrated with equal fervour. The home of the central government. The city of some of the most prestigious schools and colleges of India.

Against this, Skam. An all POC cast obviously, with NEW, AGE APPROPRIATE ACTORS (ala NL and España, NOT Italy or France), maybe diversity of ethnic groups (Bengali/North Eastern Noora, Pahadi/Kashmiri Sana?...so on). All the storylines are innovative and newly prepared like Skam Spain or Druck. An actual team of good, young writers write the dialogue and not Karan Johar or Farah Khan.

My dearest wish is a wlw storyline with Noora and Eva. It doesn't even have to demonise William. I have long wanted to see this happen as a bisexual person myself, there are so many lgbtqa+ people I know who watch SKAM in India and have shipped these two and I NEED TO SEE IT HAPPEN. Can you imagine two amazing, strong POC women in love!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!

Sana baby and Vilde get the love and appreciation they deserve, (maybe Vilde gets a season!!!!! Do it universe!!!) as do Chris, Jonas, Isak and all of them. They can keep the evak storyline the same or change it up to focus on Even and his disorder instead.

A montage of the squad participating in each other's festivals, activities, intermingling. That's what India is all about, messes and colours and people and love and hate all cocktail smashed together.
