I have no problem with any type of interracial relationship happening and I think everybody should date everybody, but it annoys me when people use this type of excuse to get away with bad behaviour.

You can have an Asian partner and be racist. They're not mutually exclusive. Your Asian partner is not a “free pass” for bad behaviour, not a “racism shield”, and not “proof” that you’re not racist.

Racism comes in many forms and isn’t so black-and-white that having an Asian partner equals non-racism.
