Sorrell reached a goal a long time ago - qualifying for #Bostonmarathon - but it was not exchanged it to action - we talked about it again and again and as the woman she is full of great arguments a clever perspectives on the world surrounding her she had her own agenda. "I'm not running Boston until I qualify w a men's qualification time, basta!" And so I've watched her here in Belin smilingly put on her glitter on each eye, have time to comfort and calm runners around her, laugh at her own nerves and not being stressed out when she didn't find her sidekick runner today - and run a blasting 2:59:38 - what's next @sorrellwalsh after we dance tonight and sneak home early tell me what races we should open for more women and how many tons of glitter we can pave your road with - thank you for being a powerhouse and inspiration to men and women around you. #tbt to a few weeks ago when I put on a brand new pair of shoes, in a style I'd never run a step in, and ran 100km. Foolhardy? Maybe. But over my years of running I have come to understand that I have a really good grasp of what my body needs and is capable of, and to act on that knowledge. #wmnrun100 #running #ultrarunning

Nina and Sarah have been friends for 10 years. They formed a friendship when Sarah nursed Nina's daughter after she needed a transplant at 7 months old. They ran 100k over the duration of last weekend, raising over £15000 for charity. Olivia, Nina's daughter, is in the middle

Laura started running in the March of last year. On the Race to the Stones weekend she racked up 100k over the Saturday and Sunday, showing that it isn't always time into experience, but the ability to work at something.

Almost at the end of day 2, shortly before the heavens opened. Debbie had ran almost 100k in less than 48 hours here, and still had enough in her to crack a smile.

Amelia ran the 100K over 2 day option. An epic achievement for her first journey over marathon distance, racing 50k, sleeping, then getting up to do it all again. Made even better as she came home as 4th lady.
