Wnt in Wings

Activation of the molecular pathway called Wnt plays a crucial role in embryo development and can promote treatment resistance in human cancers by affecting tumour cells' DNA damage response (DDR). Highly conserved across species, the molecular details of the link between Wnt and DDR are disclosed in this study of fruit fly wing development
