Waiting on Our Miracle

Finished….hm….simply the thumbnail. Dunno if I’ll put it on YouTube. You know they be striking folks 😭

ANYWAYYYYY start to finish, this took me roughly 6.5 hours. About an hour per character, give or take a few minutes obviously. Initially I was only gonna do what was in the original animatic, but decided I wanted to at least a half body of every grandkid. Dunno why 😭

I’m actually pretty proud of did this though! I don’t render as often as I should (especially my ocs they need some love…) but for what it is, I think it’s not too bad.

Should I render more?? I mean I’d like to but I just dunno which aus lmaoooo plus it took me forever

ALSO NOTE UH. Some of you may have seen the bug au drawings. Those are what I call “comic rendered”. They typically don’t have as much detail, specifically in the lighting and shading. These drawings are fully rendered.

Prologue for my Tsubasa Au, titled Wings of a Memory

The world around him shook, a rumbling in the air and Roman struggled to stand. He staggered forward on the glass floor, but he fell to his knees. He had to get out, had to move forward.. had to get to Virgil. In front of him. Less than a foot away. He struggled forward and reached out, his hand coming in contact with a glass barrier, separating them. No matter how hard he pounded on the glass, he couldn't break through. 

Virgil was trying to get through to him too, tears in his eyes. They were so close! Why did it have to end up like this! There was a flash of light behind him before wings, light purple in color, seemed to sprout out behind Virgil's back. Before either of them could react, they were pulling Virgil away, up and further away and he reached back desperately for Roman. 

"Virgil!" Roman banged his hands harder against the glass, but his efforts were useless. There was nothing he could do.

this was a study of the splatoon artstyle and i love it but tartars face looks kind of goofy. i dont know why so just ignore him nobody likes that freak anyway
