Couple of Meye’s that never got done baking
@greaserdemon ‘s Uriel over at ArtFight
Hung out at the zone a couple of times, and got thinking about a off-like zonesona. Top sprite is my cute lil avatar there! Bottom sprite is what the full character would be.

Pixel thing I did! This was for the song The Rockrose and the Thistle by The Amazing Devil.
I absolutely lost my footing and tripped down a good two month long rabbit hole with this band and their albums (And in fact, I’m still listening to this album right now). The whole thing has such vivid imagery, and lyrics that strike you one after another. It was an Entire Experience of getting the breath knocked out of me in rapid succession because oh, that line, that hit.
Please please check out their bandcamp if you’re a fan of folky, bardy songs! (I’m terrible at recognising genres please take these crumbs of categorisation I have to offer)
I’m really, really proud of how this one came out, actually! I had never drawn sea foam before, let alone pixelling, and taking on the cliff face of rocks was a whole ‘what the fuck did I sign myself up for’. My favourite part is the light from the candle! With the runner ups being the slick, wet rocks and the shrubbery (wink wonk for guesses on what they are).
Here’s what I had looped in the bg while I drew this:
The Rockrose and the Thistle (spaced about 3 min apart)
Waves crashing on a beach
The howling of a wind on a cool night
Sorry this was a ramble, I don’t know how to do read mores on tumblr anymore lol
Another TAD fanart! This time to That Unwanted Animal.
I had higher hopes for this pic actually, and wanted the candle to animate and flicker, the door to pound and strain, but :laughingsob: Maybe one day when that isn’t a stupidly ambitious goal.
