The guard had returned, leading a dragon who was so heavily swathed in jewelry that it took a moment to see through it all to figure out which tribe he was from.

Here is Bog, the walking fashion disaster.

WoF dragons humanizations!

Here are:

Chameleon is pale-skinned, skinny, with sunken eyes, a crooked nose, and thinning graying hair, falling out from stress. He wears green clothes, as tattered as he is.

His appearance as Bog is stately, with blue eyes that accentuate his expensive robes, with painted sleeves featuring blue accents (blue was an expensive dye in the Middle Ages) and gold jewelry.

Battlewinner is a terrifying, gray-haired, bony crone, who spends all her time in a hot bath. On her neck is a huge scar, faintly glowing blue.

And Scarab, she is a stately elderly lady in yellow robes, white gloves, and gold jewelry. She wears a tiara with a scarab, signifying her status as a princess.

His outfit sounds so elaborate and jarring to me 😭 You'd think Scarlet would've given him some fashion tips.

for your wof requests thing could you maybe attempt drawing chameleon and/or his scroll forms if you haven't already? (also love your art btw!! :D)

Hey there! It took me some time to decide on the appearance of his forms, but here they are!

Some brief notes about each:

Chameleon (RainWing form): Gave him a slight bump on his nose in reference to his snout deformity, and made him less saturated than the rest of his forms. I imagine he'd purposefully make his other forms more vibrant since he's never had the ability to change colour like the other RainWings.

Bog: The design of his headdress was inspired by the one in his reference on the WoF wiki (side note: I don't have the books on hand, so the wiki is where I've been getting all the info).

Cirrus: Although his description didn't actually mention any jewellery, I thought it'd make sense that all of his forms were accessorised in some way, so he got some silver horn bands.

Shapeshifter: I also chose to change his earring into the shape of a star. I figure he picked it because he thought it was something NightWings might wear.

Soar: Now, his ref had a sort of gothic spiked necklace, but, well, it honestly feels a bit too cool for Chameleon to wear. In my opinion, he's not a particularly likeable charcter. While I do feel sympathetic to his treatment and exile, well... there's the fact that he worked for Scarlet to earn gold DESPITE having the power to literally magic it up using the scroll. (Chameleon??)

Anyway, I feel like he'd want to look rich and respectable (despite how far from the truth this may be) so I changed the spikes on his necklace to be hanging instead. I reckon this gives off more of an elegent vibe.
