Hi so what if WOF had sports..

ICEWING HOCKEY!!

Concept art of thee talon blades, then some art of the full gear! they have leg guards, chest guards, and helmets

They use their tails to hit the puck across ice, and the can shield themselves with their wings or armor if the puck goes airborne

They are not allowed to fly or use their frostbreath, and all four talons have blades to ensure they dont grab other players

The whole point of hockey was originally to train soldiers to use their tail to strike others more, and to train their running muscles in case their wings are bound or in case they cannot use their frostbreath, but it has evolved into a sport for fun!

OK OK I HAVE SOME THOUGHTS FOR THIS FANDOM

y’all know how in the 5th book, a comet comes by? What if that comet came by while all three moons were out and full

like, what if a NightWing was born while exposed to 4 moons

Well one technically isn’t a moon, but still

has anyone thought of this? I wanna know if anybody else has thought of something like this

I just came up with a cool idea!

Everyone knows how every Wings of Fire tribe has its own cool power, right?

Nightwings can see the future and read minds, icewings can breathe frostbreath, rainwings can change their scale color and use magical death spit, sandwings have scorpion tails, mudwings are healed by mud and skywings can store their fire until it reaches a max temperature, but when it comes to seawings, I find their powers pretty traditional.

Seawings can breathe underwater, have glowing scales, night vision and a powerful tail. Overall, pretty basic, in my opinion.

I think it would be cool if seawings could store water and shoot it out of their mouths at scalding temperatures. They are a kind of dragon, and in my opinion, they have to breathe out some kind of substance! And icewing-seawings could shoot out freezing cold water, and skywing-seawings could store up water until it reaches max temperature! So many fun possibilities!

"Turtle, use water gun!"

I can only imagine Tsunami opening her mouth to blast Kestrel in the face with burning water.

Some WoF Soulmate Ideas/Prompts!

Note: This was originally for Qinter, but I changed it so it could be done with any of the characters! Winter -> Person A and Qibli-> Person B

This honestly doesn’t even have to be Wings of Fire. It’s broad enough to work with anyone I think. Like pick a fandom and it probably works

Additional note: I posted this on Ao3, abandoned it, reposted it, then got my work taken down. So. yeah.

A soulmate au where your soulmates name is written on your wrist. The color indicates the relationship you will have. Red means romantic (lovers), Blue means platonic (friends), and purple means it could go either way. The name only appears when you are 16 years old. If a soulmate dies, the name will turn black. Soulmates can be one-sided. The only way to get forcefully rid of them is through magic, but they can't be replaced/brought back.

The main plot would be that Person A would turn 16, and Person B's name turns up in purple on their wrist.

Person A freaks out because: (any of these options)

1.) Their parents aren't supportive of them being friends with anyone, especially if they're from other tribes.

2.) Their parents are homophobic/have something else against a relationship

3.) They don’t want Person B to find out. (An additional problem could be that they thought they were straight (if it’s a mlm or wlw relationship), gay (if it’s a hetero relationship), or even aro/ace (no romantic and/or sexual attraction)

4.) Most of their tribe/family don't have soulmates, and in that group of people soulmates are looked down upon (which would probably cause Person A to have a mental breakdown, which could also factor into the plot)

5.) They have major trust issues

6.) They thought their soulmate would be someone else

This can be either really fluffy or really angsty.

If you want fluff:

1.) It turns out that Person B already knew because they were 16

2.) Person B was 15 with a massive crush on Person A and/or really wants to be their BFF and is overjoyed when they find out.

And for angst:

1.) Person B is already 16 and knows Person A's name is on their wrist, but  Person A covers their wrist (with something idk), Person B thinks it's one-sided. This causes Person B to become very depressed wonder why they;re unworthy of getting a soulmate that isn't one-sided. This can either end with a happy ending or a sad one.

         A.) Person B finds out the truth and is overjoyed, probably the best hurt/comfort ending

         B.) Person B doesn't find out the truth and decides to cut contact with Person A or lashes out against them, driving them apart

2.) Person B is Person A's soulmate but Person B doesn't have a soulmate. This breaks Person A's heart because even though their parents/tribe didn’t approve and/or they were in denial at first, they still wanted a soulmate. (platonic or otherwise). This causes them to be even more closed off. This can go multiple ways,

         A.) Person B didn't have a soulmate but still loved Person A, so Person A pulling away broke Person B's heart.

         B.) Person B thinks that they did something wrong and that’s why Person A is being more cold/closed off. This causes them to be closed off themself and push everyone away. This can be even better if Person B didn't know they were Person B's soulmate

         C.) Person B doesn’t even care. (He doesn't believe in soulmates or he never felt the same way towards Person A) Person A's reaction can be whatever you want. (This also leaves the option for hurt/eventual comfort)

3.) EVEN WORSE: Person B's soulmate is someone else (and is reciprocated)

         A.) Person A cuts contact with Person B and whoever their soulmate is

         B.) Person A tries to get rid of the name on their wrist but doesn't know how / doesn't want to give up his secret (and it’s up to you if he does or not)

         C.) Person B doesn’t like their soulmate and wants to be soulmates/friends/together with Person A, and tries to get rid of their soulmate

And of course, if you want to do a different option than any listed above that’s perfectly fine!!!!! No pressure to stick with the exact prompt!!

Every time a Seawing commits a crime, the H2O mermaids theme song starts playing

SkyWing Sports time!

Aerial Soccer kinda!! Super similar to quidditch if you know that too!

While arena battles and boxing helps train them for ground fighting, this sport helps train for aerial fighting and stamina while flying, helping train their wing muscles

they have thick armor so the leather balls don't hurt their weak points, but they use their head and tail to knock it around in the air

Tail armor piece has a huge blade on it to help power the ball through the air, and their helmets are flat and thick

Goalies protect the hoops each team has to get the ball through, and they have more armour than the others since they are actively trying to get in the way of the ball, and their tailpiece has two blades on it rather than just one

Players are not allowed to hold the ball while flying, similar to basketball rules not allowing them to carry the ball instead of bouncing it

if they are holding the ball, they have to stop and hove and have less than 5 seconds to decide where they are going to throw it

the ball cannot touch the ground at all

throwing the balls through the three hoops at the end of the fields gain different points based on the size of them (large hoop gets 1, medium gets 3, small gets 5) and the first team to 50 points wins!

Omg hi my jaw absolutely dropped when I saw your Icewing hockey idea, so cool!!! I was wondering if you had any other cultural ideas like consumables such as beverages and smoking pipes/cigars.

none for smoking, but i sort of have an adjacent to consumables!

Mudwings have lots of farms and livestock, they export root vegetables, grasses like wheat, meat and meat byproducts, and some rarer delicacies like frogs for frog legs or snails

RainWings have the largest stock of tree and bush fruits, spices, herbs, treenuts, and also have developed tea! so they like to export all these too

SeaWings obviously have the largest supply of seafood, so they export this the most, along with snacks like dried seaweed

IceWings also have some supply of seatood, but the colder climate animals and they also export general animal byproducts like their pelts and leather

SkyWings would also generally export some spices, especially salt, but also spicy peppers

HiveWings and SilkWings i believe have canonically developed coffee and chocolate, so they export this along with honey products!

Say how do you think the main Dragon characters would react to meeting humans that are very advanced in technology and thy are from a different planet and there came in massive space ships the eclipse the dragon city's.

First of all, this sounds like a unique fanfic idea, and I'm guessing it is a fanfic idea. It's nice and creative but a little unclear upon first inspection. I will hand my opinion and ideas on it as best I can.

Dragons don't speak the same language as scavengers, so you wouldn't get an interesting verbal confrontation between the two civilizations if they weren't planning to learn each other’s languages. I think that the dragons would clearly be able to notice the advanced technologies that the humans possess, and they would probably freak out.

Depending on the human's intentions with the dragons, multiple different scenarios could be possible:

1. One, the humans are evil and are trying to kill dragons.

2. Two, the humans are evil and are abducting dragons.

3. Three, the humans are good and learn to live alongside dragons.

4. Or four, the humans and dragons don't get in each other's way and don't interact.

1. Let's talk about the first scenario, dragon kind extinction:

Scorching number 2 would be very interesting, especially if the humans possess nuclear weapons and electrical technology. First, let's talk about why the humans would be doing this because every villain has a backstory:

Maybe the humans might live on a planet that's dying and are looking for a new home, or they might be looking to take over another planet like total space tyrants. They might be looking for a fight with dragonkind because the dragons won't share their land or the humans won't want to share land.

The dragon queens might unite to take down the human forces, which would be interesting because if they win, they may continue to work together after the war. Humans probably wouldn’t use nuclear weapons very often because they don’t want to destroy the planet they are trying to take; same reason why our countries aren’t bombing each other. They might use a couple if necessary, so I don’t have very high hopes for the dragons. Turtle will be used as a meat shield for the team because his scales are invincible; I can only imagine a nuclear bomb’s explosion being absorbed by Turtle (Somebody animate that). Since humans have the power of science and electricity and dragons have some magic, I honestly think the humans would win. The humans would obviously have to trap Turtle in a cage for eternity first though.

Now let’s talk about the outcomes of the war:

If the humans won, they would probably colonize the planet like the Homeworld Gems in Steven Universe. They would either enslave the dragons or kill them all, like in the Undertale Genocide Route.

If the dragons won, they might feel more united and would get their talons on electrical technology. That could be very, very interesting. I’m sure Winter would use his computer to search up pictures of Qinter, and Turtle would definitely write fanfiction and draw digital art. So many possibilities!

2. Let's talk about the second scenario, abduction:

Now this is a plot I’m interested in! Let’s talk about the reason why they would be abducting dragons:

They could be abducting dragons for research, obviously, but what kind of research is the question. Genetics, magic, curiosity? There are so many possible reasons! They could also be doing this for food reasons. I know it sounds weird, but they might be abducting dragons to eat them because they’ve been lost in space with limited food and dragons are tasty, but that’s very unlikely; now I’m wondering what dragons taste like, and I bet Winter tastes like ice cream. They could be abducting dragons to use them as weapons of war against another alien or human civilization; that would actually be cool!

Enough talking about the why, let’s talk about the consequences of their actions and the terror they bring upon dragon society. Just imagine more dragons mysteriously disappearing every day. You wake up, and your entire family might be gone, you wake up, and you’re lightyears away from your family; so much tragedy and fear, it would truly be a terrific and terrifying plot! Imagine Winter getting abducted and Qibli going to save his damsel in distress with the power of LOVE! I want to read a sci-fi Qinter fanfiction now if that exists (Get on it writers!).

3. Let's talk about the third scenario, FRIENDSHIP AND MAGIC!

The dragons and humans will meet each other and sign a peace document, and they’ll be best friends forever! Okay, no, it’s much more difficult than that. Human history has shown that when two civilizations collide, there are many complications, especially if the civilizations don’t speak the same languages and one has more advanced technology. So why would the humans be doing this, you ask, here might be why:

They are looking to expand their empire and gain a few allies. Or, they may be fascinated by dragons and want to live with them like the cute, little fangirls they all are inside! Maybe they were even sent on a universal conquest to share the power of LOVE and FRIENDSHIP with all civilizations! Anything is possible!

Now here are the possibilities of what their merged civilizations will look like:

The dragons are the dominant species and oppress the humans:

The humans might be used as slaves, and their technology might be robbed. Modern racism would occur on the planet, and eventually, a dragon will come along, like Martin Luther King, and help the dragons realize the error of their ways. It would still be a long road to equality from there.

The humans are the dominant species and oppress the dragons:

The dragons would probably become slaves for the humans, and the humans might use shock collars and talon printing to keep track of their slaves and keep them in line. Alternate universe Martin Luther King would come along and use his CIVIL RIGHTS BEAM and free the dragons from slavery! The dragons might even abuse this freedom and reunite to enslave the humans! DOUBLE CROSS!

The humans and dragons get along:

This possibility isn’t that impossible because humans most likely have experienced injustice in their previous world and might be able to warn the dragons about unfairness in society if they find a way to communicate with each other. At first, they might communicate using pictures, and overtime, they will try and learn each other’s languages. I bet the human leaders and queens would work together to make a better society, and I bet that some people would become dragon riders. The humans would share their technology, and the dragons would share their magic; a golden age would arise! Personally, I’m not a fan of the dragon and human equality universe because I just want dragons, but I think this would be a cool idea for a fanfiction.

4. Let's talk about the fourth scenario, No interaction:

Now this scenario might be more interesting than you think because no interaction could also mean complete species separation. Imagine two civilizations ruling over the Earth, dragons and humans (UNDERTALE, AM I RIGHT?); wouldn’t that be interesting? They could go to war one day, they could just ignore each other or they might come together at some point. But this is about total isolation, so let us talk about total isolation. Here are the possible reasons why:

The humans might be scared of the dragons and don’t want to confront them, or the humans just don’t like dragons and don’t want to interact with them. The humans might even think nothing of the dragons because their plans for the planet don’t involve any dragons.

The dragons would probably be more curious than ever about the spacefaring species and would probably try to interact with the humans. The humans might not even live anywhere near the dragons, so there’s also the possibility of that. Or maybe we'll just have another Romeo and Juliet occur in that universe. There’s not really much to say here other than that Winter might go on a “Scavenger hunt” for the hiding humans.

Now, there are so many other possibilities that I could talk about, like how the scavengers might be returning to their home planet to save the other scavengers, or how the Pyrrhia scavengers and spacefaring scavengers might team up to defeat the dragon race together, or anything! Maybe the scavengers could even be all of us fans coming to Pyrrhia to stan our favorite dragons.

When I first saw this ask, I didn’t really think much of it. But then I started to remember how much of a Subnautica fan I was, and I took this creative, science-fiction spin on Wings of Fire to the max! You’re free to use any of these ideas for a fanfiction because I’m really interested in what people could do with them, so if anyone decides to write a science-fiction, Wings of Fire fanfiction, like this, inform me so I can read it! Maybe the mysterious anonymous who asked this might even be planning to write one, but who knows, that’s just another “possibility”.
