C&R at school: Forbidden ships

This day was my hardest.  My sim world is limited.  I don't write fanfic to share.  I don't manipulate pictures.  I can't get my students to...wait.  They can do something.  Something clever.  And Columbus Day is Monday.  That could...that could work.

May I present my major class project for the last two weeks. 

I gave them three different possibilities for materials like milk cartons, popsicle sticks, and egg cartons.  They were not limited to that, and they could not use a professional model.  They were given complete artist freedom to decorate the boat, though I did suggest a few styles like military, hello kitty, dragon, steampunk (they did not know what that was).  So Friday it was due, and every kid save two brought a boat in and they were fabulous.

Pirate boats led by a lego batman and his crew.

Fabulous rainbow sparkle boats.  That is a compass on the front of the zebra print one. 

See.  I did not even suggest it, and yet Ty got a boat.  A zebra print with decorative shell-edged boat.  ::snicker::

Quite a few Columbus ships.  I thought they kind of looked like red cross ships for Kelly. 

They really did a good job.

The party boats.  This one had four participants.  Well hello, Bratts doll Ty, Zane, Nick, and Kelly.

This boat was my favorite.  It was so pretty and made from milk cartons.  Oh, and all the boats floated.  I was a proud teacher.  They did good.

C&R Sims: Alternate Realties of Minions

These are mostly inspired by the fanfics than actually representations.  I did not talk to any of the creators about doing this, so it is my own game interpretation of their work.  Please forgive me if I got it all wrong.

Dani's Faerie world:

(Yeah, I got this one all wrong, Dani, sorry.  But you inspired me to make them faeries, so I had to share.  Hell, I might make my own AU in faerie world of sims when I finish playing with them in normal world.) 

Tristina's Airship Sidewinder:

Zane: Given that we now know he is a type royalty, I thought he could dress it up a bit.  (sorry no mouth masks in my game, but didn't his dad give him a small breather in the last chapter?)

Version 1 Ty: He seems a bit French revolutionary war like, but I thought the hat and boots were swash buckling.  Or maybe he had Kelly steal him some clean clothes.

Version 2 Ty: And Kelly aimed high stealing these.  Maybe Ty wanted to get fancily dressed to visit Zane's mom or the Baron.

Catherine's My Little Pony:

(Zane refused to let me put makeup on him.  i.e. He looked really ridiculous.)

And as a randomn one, but they looked so cool I had to share.  Plus, Abi is all history major.

Now.  Don't get your hopes up, because they are not slated to enter my little sim world for a bit.  Ty just got his kitten, and Zane is busy...working out his kinks.  And I want to get a better handle on their personalities after I read S&A and B&S, but may I present...

These are prototypes, and not definite yet, so if you think I might be a bit off somewhere and want to suggest tweaks, please feel welcome.

I mean, as I was making them my husband had this to say.
