When sampling goes right 💕 . Here’s a 2021 Diary sample from when I was testing screenprint colourways and checking out the handbound book finishings (paper, quality, binding etc). . Always sample before committing to production so you know exactly what you’re getting for your money. . This print didn’t make my final cut as there were so many beautiful swatches to choose from. There were also many hideous ones that went straight to the bin 🤫 (when I lifted the foil sheet off some samples I wanted to cry after all that printing and physical labour) but I got there in the end. . As the saying goes, ‘try and if you fail, try again’. Who knows what magic you might come up with! . .
