Superman Has Been "Woke" in the Movies Since 1951

In this scene from "Superman and the Mole Man", Superman confronts a group of racist men who are trying to kill "mole men" (creatures that live under the Earth) just for looking different. In this one scene, Superman explains how all people that are different than us have a right to live, tells racist American men they're acting like Nazis, and even advocates for gun control. All of this was back in 1951!
