Comments: A warm, comfy, cuddly read with a bit of wartime questioning and a lot of baking. A quiet little fic that left me craving both bread and hugs.

Author: Woldy Title: A Lie With a Hole in it Pairing(s): Pansy/Astoria Rating: NC-17 Contains: crossdressing, infidelity, angst Summary: Pansy always had a weakness for aristocratic blonds. It was her greatest weakness. Word Count:2800 Why I loved it: I really loved the personality clash in this fic. Pansy comes off as hard-edged on the outside, but really soft on the inside when her barriers come down. Astoria has a knack at cracking them, and looks pretty damn hot in drag. Why not give it a try?

Author: woldy Title: Adamantine Pairing(s): Millicent Bulstrode/Madam Hooch (non-explicit) Rating: PG-13 Contains: character death by plague (not the main characters) Summary: St Mungos is turning people away and there are dozens of bodies heaped in the Hogsmeade cemetery, but it's not until Harry Potter dies that people start panicking. Word Count: 7600 Why I loved it: It's a dark fic, set in a world post Voldemort where a plague has taken over the wizarding world. There's pain in being a survivor and finding the strength to do what is needed to survive as well as to find a reason for living. Woldy's voice is brilliant in this and the world she crafts is so realistic, you really feel for the characters as they have to make impossible choices. Give it a try and leave love for the author!
