Guys I'm back on my bullshit. The Pitt wolf-shifter is but it's time-to-get-everyone-to-actually-talk
How do we do this? Because nobody working at the Pitt is actually going to ever have a full conversation with each other. But their wolves are achingly honest in a way that they in human form just aren't (Dennis tends to curl up in small corners, ears always pinned back. Trinity snarls and snaps at anyone, Robby curls up in a corner and whines sadly.)
There’s some sort of drug that forces a shift in medical emergencies, when either the professionals need the shifter to be human, or they’ve gone too long without the shift that their body starts to shut down. By some terribly convenient series of events, Robby, Trinity and Dennis get dosed with it. They have just about enough time to get to one of the emergency shifter rooms (full of soft things, soundproof, scent proof ect) before they’re promptly stuck in shifter form for the next six hours.
Normally, this would be fine. Dana called Jack and told him to get his ass in here because Wolf-Robby doesn’t usually calm down without him. But otherwise they just need to ride it out. Because they are able to function well in the work place there should be no intra wolf conflict. So the game plan is for them to just chill in opposite corners of the room. (There are more emergency shifter rooms but they’re currently in use.).
Except for the small issue of the whole pack thing, and the other issue of them all having their own issues. Wolf-Dennis is terrified, he shoves himself into the smallest corner of the room, trying to be as submissive as possible because he doesn’t want to piss off Robby who is clearly in charge. Wolf-Trinity is snarling and snapping, because she doesn’t know what to do except try and protect Dennis who’s clearly scared out of his mind. Wolf-Robby is so stressed because he has two of his pack in here freaking the fuck out, and more of his pack he can just barely scent outside the room where he can’t help them.
(More under cut because this got long)
Cue him trying to show Trinity her place gently. Dennis freaking out. It’s a whole scene. Wolf-Robby finally gives up and just flops down between the two of them and the door, using his massive bulk to physically shield them from the outside world. (For both Trinity and Dennis it is the first time either of them have felt safe in so long.).
They calm down. Wolf Robby DOES NOT. He is stressed. He starts whining, pawing at the doors, howling, come here, come here, come here.
Which is about the point where Samira, Mel, Victoria and Frank realize they are most definitely part of Robby’s pack. Jack shows up and tries his best to migrate but his wolf is protective on a good day. And Wolf-Jack really likes Robby’s plan of everyone being in one place where they can keep an eye on them.
This, of course, leads to all of them squishing into a room that is really not made for eight fully grown wolves. The non drugged wolves try and keep their human forms to help but that goes…not well.
Samira lasts all of two minutes. as her wolf leaps to the surface begging for pack pack pack. Her wolf is also convinced that she needs to get Robby to forgive her and is overly submissive. Wolf-Robby doesn’t give a fuck about their work dynamic, but is perfectly happy to have wolf-samira near him. Victoria shifts, more because she doesn’t know what to do with herself otherwise. Mel keeps her human form, but lets Victoria rest her head in her lap, and curls up against Robby.
Jack shifts as well and just sits guard near the door, making sure nobody can get through. Wolf-Robby keeps whining to get him closer.
HOLY SHIT I FORGOT FRANK
Frank doesn’t have a single chance. His wolf is full of mournful cries, as he settles far away from them. Knowing that the pack doesn’t accept him but it’s the closest he could get to pack.
Wolf-Robby is confused. Because Frank is practically begging for forgiveness so everything is good right? but the human part of him is a mess of emotions and betrayal but Frank is back. The pack needs to stick together.
Mckay is the one to gently start coaxing Frank to lie his head in her lap, scratching behind his ears. Jack moves so it’s clear that he’s defending Frank too. Even as the others hesitate to go against Robby. Wolf-Robby finally decides that Frank is back so it doesn’t matter and drags him to his side, gently grooming him.
Is Faolan ok with mc petting his wolf form??? Cuddling?? Belly rub?? Cuz I'm sorry, but I just see a big doggo who needs to receive pets and affection. Also mc already invaded the hatching ceremony just to see the cute dragon babies, so I think that they would also want to pet a wolf ahshshwusbsj
Yes, you will be able to pet and cuddle with Faolan in his wolf form. I would never deprive you all of that.

Stiles opens his mouth, but doesn't actually say anything. Derek…well, he does look tired, but he always does, that's nothing new. Stiles has always privately thought that the dude needs to get some proper, uninterrupted sleep, maybe, or take up yoga, start meditating-- anything to blur away the pretty much permanent, etched-in shadows under his eyes, to fill out his hollow-looking cheeks, so at odds with the heavily-muscled, carefully-honed rest of him. He just never thought Derek would actually admit to it, much less do anything about it.
Derek is tired so he decides the best remedy is to cuddle Stiles. This is super cute!
