I've decided that I need to write a werewolf book, or multiples maybe.

I need to see the style of werewolf book I want to read and, if I can't find it, I'll just create it.

I am EXHAUSTED by mates. Yes, that's right. I am sick to death of Alphas mated with either A) a sad, unknown omega that is pretty and the Chosen One; B) a human woman that is sarcastic, cynical, or super nurturing; or C) a werewolf from another pack so we get Romeo and Juliet or whatever.

I want pack politics without romance being the issue. I want the struggle of fighting against the wolf inside without the person struggling being a murderer, killer, or antagonist. I want a recently turned person finding their pack and building on those relations.

Cannot find a single book that really gives me this. So, maybe I'll write it. (Also, open to book recs that follow this if you know of them)

The intended vibe for the wtmsr comic specifically is that they have an extremely close bond, bordering on codependency with some anxieties of losing each other sprinkled on top.

For the purposes of wtmsr there's nothing that I'd consider "canon", really. You can interpret it however you want forever. They can be brothers, they can be friends, I guess it can be romantic if that's how you want to read it. Beyond the above, I'm not writing it with any specific intention in mind, so it's up to you.

Otherwise it's kinda the same thing. I like the way they visually compliment each other so I like drawing them together, but that's as far as the thought process goes. It can be ship art if you want, but it doesn't have to be and I didn't make it with that in mind.

As long as the actual people are being treated with respect, I don't care how anyone views the art I make.
