Kitchen and Attic for Awryen for the room ask.
* What is the character’s favorite food?
She LOVES Shepherd’s Pie, especially when made with Talbuk. On Azeroth, stag meat is a very acceptable replacement.
* Are they good at cooking? How good/bad?
Awryen’s decent. She’s no gourmet and if she feels like making anything fancy, she surrounds herself with cookbooks. The few meals she knows right offhand, like certain stews and the previously mentioned pie, she’s very good at!
* Do they leave the dishes out?
She can, sometimes. In her apartment, she has clutter around the place and will leave the occasional mug out, but she’s very good at making sure her plates and bowls are taken care of. At the keep, well, any plate ware is usually taken by the servants. Besides, Varian is a rather tidy man and would not allow it anyway. Tsk tsk.
* What kind of food is in their refrigerator?
In her icebox? When Awryen’s there for an extended amount of time, which is rare, there are usually some cold cuts that she gets from the deli down the way, cheese, and a pitcher of milk. Sometimes she has a few vegetables, but if she gets any, she uses them within a day or so. She never knows when she’ll have to leave, and that goes badly quick. Otherwise, in her pack, it’s the usual shelf stable foods like dried meats, bread, cheese, spices for when she fishes/hunts, and her water canteen.
* Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more?
Typically, she cooks. She may not be a gourmet, but Awryen rarely spends her money out unless she just feels like certain foods, like Night Elven or Dwarven cuisine!
* What is the character afraid of?
Awryen is afraid of two things: failure... and water. Failure due to her inability to save her parents or younger brother back on Draenor and water from when she was young and nearly drowned. As an adult, she has somewhat battled her fear of water, but every so often, it’ll hit her, especially if she is by herself. It rarely hits her when with those she cares about, especially Varian.
* How do they deal with bad memories?
Hmm... usually she tries to bury them deep. And most of the time, it works. But sometimes...they come to the forefront, and she ends up hurting. After Anduin was hurt so badly in Pandaria, the memories of her family, which she kept buried so deep, hit her hard. Because of that pain, she breaks and tells Varian about them, explaining why Anduin’s plight bothered her so badly.
* What is this character’s role in a horror movie?
Horror movie role...the sensible one who gets exasperated at the bull headed leader, barely keeping herself and them alive...until her own bullheadedness nearly gets them killed. :V
* How do they hide their secrets?
She never speaks of them. Unless it will actively harm someone, her secrets stay buried and never see the light of day. Not unless she’s comfortable enough to reveal them. If they’re harmless, however, she sometimes has a terrible poker face and others will pick up on something that she’s hiding. She damn near spoiled Nakara and Jus’ma’s baby reveal because she was so excited!!
* Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?
I would say...a mix of Wrath and Pride. She’s very confident in herself when it comes to her skills and abilities, which has led her to harm, of herself and others, a few times in her life. Her anger and resentment at those who have harmed, or killed, those that she loves can be a very destructive thing. Lashing out at Jaina and subsequently snubbing her, then the way she would attack enemies savagely, and sometimes cruelly, after Varian died? She takes that kind of vengeance seriously. She’s also snapped at those who never deserved it, only to apologize later once those raging feelings were cooled, and she realized she had been an ass. Furthermore, she has a temper once she’s been pushed enough.
