I just had a thought and had to quickly write it down before it escapes me

ProtectorCreator!Reader that turns into a child after every fight to recover their power. IMAGINE THE CHAOS

Childe would definitely pick you up and scurry away to show his family

Venti would coo and aww at you along with Shogun, Zhongli, Lisa, and Amber

Xiao would be dumbfounded along with Ningguang and Jean

Traveller would be fighting Childe to leave you alone

Sooo I have been on a binge on these amazing Genshin Impact stories and content and I just had like a revelation while driving the 40 minutes home from work yesterday.

A lot of these Genshin SAGAU feature Imposter!AU where the reader gets sucked into the game universe and is treated harshly. And then I remembered the Liyue quest where in order to be able to meet Xiao, the inn owner had you interact with a spirit in her care to be able to safely interact with Xiao because he is a higher entity with a special aura or energy that will weaken you. AND THAT'S WHEN IT CLICKED FOR ME! THAT'S why everyone in the Imposter!AUs are after the reader, because since they are technically the highest entity of their universe, their aura is 1000x or more dense than that of our favorite higher beings in game. Its why they go on a frenzy to kill you, because of the energy you posses. What makes it even BETTER is that some AUs also feature an acolyte that will instantly (or at least have their suspicions) recognize you as the true creator and not an imposter when you descend, because they were your main/favorite to use when playing the game in your world. They are already more used to your aura they have that resistance.

Sooo sleep evades me tonight and I of course just set some music and tried to relax with my racing thoughts of my new obsession, Genshin Impact. Of course, as I get settled and enjoy the music my brain just throws me another idea that I cannot resist.

Just.

Imagine.

AngelicDemon!Creator, where the Creator is essentially a demon BUT they have the personality and attitude of an angel. (Poor Xiao :< imagine this poor baby's reaction to that ughhh)

Corrupted!/Fallen!Creator, where the Creator somehow becomes corrupted during a fight to protect and now everyone has to fight them to snap out of it? Or or or, they have morally fallen to the point of becoming a brainless doll or puppet that another god or bad guy can use them as a weapon?

Like seriously if you make stories out of these TAG MEEEE

Soooo, essentially its the Demon!Creator but thanks to the lovely youtuber called HalaCG and their amazing song called "Who We Are" I got a subplot? added on for it.

Like essentially siblings, with the Creator being the female. During a fight against other forces, the sister and Creator of Teyvat becomes a demon. Of course, its Demon Slayer, so though she turns she still fights alongside her brother. But then after so long of fighting, she disappears into her created planet to try to live a normal life. She is willingly mute, and doesn't have Nezuko's mouthpiece on to better fit in and not raise alarms. But the brother grows concerned and goes to find her, at the same time as the evil doers do. She goes ballistic, giving in to her demonic side temporarily to boost her power and defeat the bad guys once in for all. And to bring her back? Her brother sings their song, and she joins in.

AHHH I MADE THIS WORSE FOR MYSELF, I AM ITCHIN TO START TYPING AWAY

edit 2: yup, last edit cuz if I get more ideas it WILL be a new drafter post but this one is related to the first edit cuz I just focused on the lyrics and ughh realized this song could double for a lover's song if you remove the Demon Slayer sibling element. Like imagine the same thing, but the creator falls in love with one of the game characters (Diluc, Childe, Zhongli, Jean, whatever your preferance/fave) and that was their song? And that brings you back to reality? Ughhh

I am in this pit of Genshin Impact content and I don't want to leaaaveee. Currently debating whether I should post some stories I have been mulling over the past couple days *cough*weeks*cough* and most have been with the Genshin Sagau or Creator!Reader au. Like some examples here are:

1. TimeLord/Lady!Reader - The reader is sucked into Genshin and they grew accostomed to it over time, getting to know characters from Mondstadt all the way to Inazuma. But they control time when something goes wrong (i.e character dies) and they fight to keep the timelines stable.

2. Creator!Reader w/ memories of every life - Like how it is, the reader IS the creator of Genshin Impact world and they remember every life they had on Earth and on Teyvat.

3. NanobotCreator!Reader - Reader creator with the power over nanobots! (This one is inspired from a story on the Webnovel app called Nanomancer Reborn - I've become a Snow Girl? and I love it to bits my favorite story on that platform and highly recommend to anyone who loves isekai/gamer sub genre)

4. GuardianProtectorCreator!Reader - As it says, this creator is protecting Teyvat from other gods and goddesses vying for the power of Vision for themselves, so the reader is protecting all of our favorite characters and the planet from their clutches

Also thinking of drabbling with some headcannons for the characters, but maybe will be later when I catch up on the story as I am currently still AR34 and barely on the meeting Madam Ping quest *cough* been busy with work and all but I am grinding it to the end
