For Day 14, we have an absolutely amazeballs Guardians of the Galaxy Groot Solstice tree topper by @wolfenm. The string of twinkle lights effectively evokes Groot's bioluminescent spores, and he even has a Rocket Raccoon plush to go with him! ❤️

25 Days of Christmas Art: Day 24 - Christmas Eve

Ok so I missed Day 23 shush

Today's featured artwork is something especially near and dear to my heart. @wolfenm (the creator of the awesome Grootmas tree-topper from Day 10) is a talented writer as well, and is currently working on a series of books retelling well-known stories from a unique perspective. "The Drosselmeier Chronicles" will give readers a glimpse at the Gaiankind (elves, dryads, brownies, and other faer folk) pulling the strings behind the scenes of such classic tales as Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan.

The Drosselmeier Chronicles: The Solstice Tales is the first in this series. In "Nussknacker," a retelling of E. T. A. Hoffmann's famous story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, it is revealed that Uncle Drosselmeier is far more than he first let on, and Marie's adventures with the Nutcracker were only just begun when the original novel ended. And in "A Conspiracy of Spirits: The Love Story of Jacob Marley and Ebenezer Scrooge," a retelling of Charles Dickens' beloved classic A Christmas Carol, Jacob Marley's bond with Ebenezer Scrooge proves to be so much more than friendship; in his efforts to save his beloved's soul, he teams up with three Gaiankind—and may inadvertently save himself in the process.

(Ok Day 10 for real now) Today's art is an absolutely amazeballs Guardians of the Galaxy Groot holiday tree-topper by @wolfenm. The string of twinkle lights effectively evokes Groot's bioluminescent spores, and he even has a Rocket Raccoon plush to go with him! ♥ The first image actually went semi-viral back in 2014, so some of you may have already seen it, but it's still insanely cool... aaaand as I happen to be lucky enough to know the artist (who is a wonderful human being BTW) personally, I just couldn't resist sharing this.
