faer folk and courting humans
Before I go anywhere with this, I must introduce myself. I am a highborn prince of the autumn court, and i am known as the one who wanders. But… recently my heart no longer wishes to wander. I have been near Elsewhere university and one of the students has been quite endearing in our numerous interactions (im not sure he knows im fae) and i have felt no reason to walk away. It is almost breaking my very nature. I have no idea what human customs of courting are, and i don't want to seem impolite. What are some common customs that most humans abide by for courting?
25 Days of Christmas Art: Day 24 - Christmas Eve
Ok so I missed Day 23 shush
Today's featured artwork is something especially near and dear to my heart. @wolfenm (the creator of the awesome Grootmas tree-topper from Day 10) is a talented writer as well, and is currently working on a series of books retelling well-known stories from a unique perspective. "The Drosselmeier Chronicles" will give readers a glimpse at the Gaiankind (elves, dryads, brownies, and other faer folk) pulling the strings behind the scenes of such classic tales as Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan.
The Drosselmeier Chronicles: The Solstice Tales is the first in this series. In "Nussknacker," a retelling of E. T. A. Hoffmann's famous story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, it is revealed that Uncle Drosselmeier is far more than he first let on, and Marie's adventures with the Nutcracker were only just begun when the original novel ended. And in "A Conspiracy of Spirits: The Love Story of Jacob Marley and Ebenezer Scrooge," a retelling of Charles Dickens' beloved classic A Christmas Carol, Jacob Marley's bond with Ebenezer Scrooge proves to be so much more than friendship; in his efforts to save his beloved's soul, he teams up with three Gaiankind—and may inadvertently save himself in the process.
It can be read in full, for FREE, on Archive of Our Own.
And if you fall in love with these stories, as I have, the book is available for purchase through Lulu.

So I think some of the faer folk took one of my dresses. And my felt.
Anyone know a way to bribe them to give me back my things?
