Long time no see though I did see recently you published a new chapter of VBEOW!

I'm rewatching AOT, and seeing cadet Armin made me fall in love with him even more X3

Tell me, do you have any head canons specifically for Cadet AruAni?

(I'm sure you do, given how you are one of the CEOs of the AruAni base XD)

I published it 84 years ago... and pretty sure CEOs who don't work don't remain CEOs for very long...

Cadet armin? Ohhhh cadet Armin 🫠🫠🫠 I know I've spent more time and post-space giggling and screaming about timeskip Armin more than cadet Armin, but I guess... if I hadn't obsessed over Cadet Armin back in the day, I would never be here right? Ofc Cadet Armin appeals to me, because one of the thing I love most about this Armin era is how he feels... more open and free-spirited than timeskip era. Sure, the biggest contributing factor is that things are very different. But it's just... it's just... *gestures helplessly* T/////T

Like for SURE (and I say with confidence!) Cadet Aruani is wilder! Am I talking about smut? Not necessarily. It's just that they're much younger and the burden of what's about to come is still on the horizon (but not here here yet) so they have the time, the peace of mind, the ability to just... go for it. You know? Go for it, a relationship of sorts, and see what happens. They're younger, they haven't betrayed one another yet, they're still two people with the capacity to be free and more open with each other. Throw in the mutual curiosity and OOHhhhhh 🫠🫠🫠

But like... I guess if I had to pick one headcanon specifically, it's that I always think about how warm and soft those moments when Aruani probably spent time together were. Basically, just spending time. Whatever timetables they had, if it overlapped, or if their names happened to be on the roster next to each other, or even if Armin wasn't on stable duty one particular afternoon, he went to the stables because Annie was there, and he spent time with her, talking, laughing, earning her rare smiles. Then later, it's her turn to show up when least expected because he has the night watch on Wall Maria and she doesn't, so she brings some fruit and everything she's unable to say and keeps him company. Spending time becomes natural and so... warm. Just so warm.

She stares in dumbfounded shock at you before gritting her teeth and starting to steam up.

"Threatening tone- You want me to kiss you that badly, huh? Want me to entertain that little freak part of you so much?"

TessCyn's eye lights stare daggers into you as your legs are thrown out from under you, a tendril wrapping them tight as she drags you along your back towards her. Her breathing gets heavier as steam rolls from her maw, walking slowly towards you.

"Who do you think you are, demanding me of a-anything?"

She yanks you by the legs before a second tendril binds your arms against your sides, using the strength of both to lift you up to place her hand against your throat, eyes as thin as razor cuts in paper.

"You want a kiss sooooo fucking bad? Fine-"

The third tendril covers your mouth as it wraps around your head, still letting you see her glaring down at you with a smirk through all the steam.

"-but I'd rather be dead than have you touching me, Weirdo."

The amalgam leans in and gives a peck to the tendril where your mouth likely would've been, using a hand to wipe her mouth after tossing you to the ground immediately after.

"Now fuck off."

Eremika baby meets AruAni baby

Aslkfhasfaf you know, Eremika baby is quite illiterate in comparison to the well-adjusted mind-game playing Aruani baby.

Because Eremika baby is sooo innocent and naive - her father is a lost cause (he's very proud catching fish for dinner while her mom hauls in a whole bear), her mother is soft and sweet and nothing like the 9 year old murder-child she once was, and the most exciting thing she gets to do is go horse-riding and learn about nature. Her parents are cottagecore losers.

Aruani baby on the other hand... travels the world. She can talk to diplomats using big words nobody else knows. She can tie her parents' ties and also her Ambassador Uncles' and Aunts' ties. She plays 10-dimensional chess and has an addiction to sugar. She's also deceivingly sweet; underneath her bright papa-like smile, there's immense strength.

Do they get along? Absolutely. Something something polar opposites with alike affinity. It's chaotic but also cute xD Eremika baby teaches Aruani baby about which wild mushrooms to pick and which fish taste nice while Aruani baby teaches Eremika baby about geopolitics and the economy.

Nevermind fluff, I think Armin's gonna get poisoned by too much sugar.

Because come the fuck on, what is a bakery date if he isn't being a lovey-dovey boyfriend and accepting cutesy-sized bites of cake and pudding from his very excited girlfriend?! Like, that's tHE boyfriend dream!

(half of the reason he's taking Annie to this bakery because she'll love it, the other half is because he's excited to be romantically spoonfed)

It goes well! They're cuter than the icing on the display cakes! They get a tiny table by a corner where Armin can coax Annie into cuddling close as she orders off the menu. And can you imagine the look on HER face?! It's the girl's DREAM. He's even telling her to get whatever she likes! Diabetes heaven! The first dish comes - some kind of milk pudding that looks like a cat and almost too cruel to eat, but hell to the fuck yeah, she's picking up a spoonful and looking at him expectantly and with a slight blush, "Wanna try a bite?"

In public! Hallelujah!

T////T Armin's positively floating off to space now.

It's still good after that tho! She gets whipped cream on her nose and he licks it off. She gets sugar on her lips and he kisses it off! She's so happy and blushy and purring with contentment and Armin is mentally formulating his 12-step marriage proposal plan (ring included).

But listen... listen, it soon backfires because he doesn't realize - Annie's hellbent on trying every single thing they have in that bakery, and though it means he continues to get tiny bites of whatever thing arrives on the table like the star boyfriend he is, it also means... he's feeling sick with all that sugar.

"Hmm, now I think I'll get the Mango Foam Cosmic Shoedust Ginger Puree Health Hazard Fruit Salad."

He's terrified. Does it really have mango in it? Only Ymir knows. 500 grams of sugar in a single scoop and a guaranteed dentist appointment. An abomination, but Annie's looking at him like THIS:

He's poisoning himself for her, confirmed. RIP.

Annie sleeps and Armin watches her. Annie mutters, "Armin, stop!" and he begins to grin wickedly. Then Annie says, "Donuts are mine, don't eat them!" His smile freezes for a moment but he's still smiles because he even loves her sweet tooth. And before she wakes up, he goes to buy donut for her. It's so funny to imagine Armin with such a facial expression. XD

Maybe this serves as a kind of reckoning for Armin - he finally has to accept that he's truly the freaky one and Annie's just horny enough to go along with his stuff! It's very cute but also super funny xD Thinking of the expression he'll have on his face is just tickling me akhdjsnks xD

And, well, the donuts are important too. Without a perennial stock in the pantry, Annie gets too cranky, putting him at risk of vitamin C deficiency!
