well, I really shouldn't be surprised at this point; at this point the greater surprises come from when a character who seems tailor-made for that kind of fandom doesn't get one (for a very strong example, Pitch from Rise of the Guardians- the vast majority of weird fandom shit I've seen over him has actually come from the Jack Frost fandom shipping them. Pitch's personal fandom seems much more in the realm of "wow, what a heartbreaking backstory, but god, what a delicious asshole he turned into because of it!").
