Lichenpaw, apprentice of JaggedClan to Lichenstrike, warrior of JaggedClan
Daughter of Sharpthorn and Nettleedge, sister of Nightpaw and Ravinepaw
Main protagonist
When Lichenkit and her sisters were born, they were heavily pressured into becoming fierce warriors of JaggedClan. Even before 6 moons she was taken out of the nursery by her mother Sharpthorn to begin warrior training. All three siblings were pushed to their limits, but Lichenkit bore the weight of expectations as the favorite of her parents. She was swift, cunning, and displayed battle potential.
Once they hit six moons and moved from the nursery to the apprentice den, Sharpthorn retired from being a motherly figure to her daughters, ordering them to refer to her as Sharpthorn rather than “mother.” Even though Sharpthorn saw Lichenpaw as the most promising apprentice of the Clan, and even future deputy and then leader, Lichenpaw began to doubt her excitement for warriorhood, wondering if she was just living the life her mother wanted for her.
Lichenpaw’s energetic and rowdy demeanor quickly changes when a mysterious fire ravages through the clan and she earns her warrior name, Lichenstrike, among the wreckage
