The Island’s Magic (closed w/ rakyatleader)

Carlos heard the sound of the choppers before he saw them. It was the American Army, here to finally get the scientists off the Rook islands. It took them long enough... but boy did they have lousy timing!

Carlos was in no form to fly. He didn’t even dare approach the camp. INstead he waited in the shrubbery nearby and just watched. None of the scientists called out for him. He’d been missing for a while, and they thought the worst had happened to him. Somberly the scientists loaded into the choppers with their gear while Army soldiers and Rakyat warriors alike watched and kept the area secure so that they could leave in safety.

Carlos just sighed and watched sadly. His one chance of getting home. It was leaving. And he couldn’t go with it because right now, he’d only alarm everyone. He looked like a monster.

Pharaoh of he phalanges, fuhrer of fingers, tyrant of tweaks... Why must you torment me so? I've waited so long for this day. Why didn't you call? Why didn't you announce your de-wolfing? I had to find out all on my own and by then... it was too late. I had already put my shirt back on.

I haven’t ‘de-wolfed’ yet, just so you know. I have a good twenty days until that happens. You should really invest in some pliers, pal.

"Whoa! Oh my, oh no. Carlos, are you ok?? What' wrong? Oh no" *Worried eye noises* [for the werewolf thing!]

Carlos miscalculated when the sun would set. He thought he’d be fine visiting Cecil for a little bit. But then the transformation started and he couldn’t stop it.

The first thing he did was push himself away from the couch where he and Cecil sat. He stumbled as the bones of his legs changed and bent, causing him to fall against the wall. His back cracked as it started to lengthin and grow larger.

“C-Cecil...!” he groaned. “P-please, stay wh-where you a-are..!”

That is... certainly a lot of hair! You might preheat and bake without written instructions out here in the desert, whatever you are. A husky hybrid? I've heard those were getting more domesticated but I didn't predict the legs and thumbs.

Wha -- Kevin?? No, I’m -- I’m not a husky. Um, you really shouldn’t be here... for more than just the usual reasons.
