A picture of Severus in his late twenties, taken by Moody during a weekend at Moody’s cottage in the country. Severus was trying to do his daily exercises (Healer’s orders!) with that “ridiculous thing” (it being the gym ball!) when Moody took the picture. Severus was not amused.

This is a fanart I made for my fic The monster and the magical toys shop for which the last chapter has just been published! Severus is heavily disfigured in it, here is the description: 

The right side of his face was so scarred, it looked like it had melted somehow. The eye was missing and the empty eye socket deformed by the scarring. Weird little tendrils seemed to spider from where the eye should have been, confirming that the scarring was definitely from some very dark magic. It was… horrible, and a little scary to look at. It didn’t look like a human face. (...) He was dark-haired except for a few neatly defined white streaks that seemed out of place on someone that young.

Be gentle with me, I’m not an artist and this was hard!
