your wolfzos always fuel me, i'd love to read about this au if you have a second to talk about it............ 👀

OH!!! It’s a pretty standard au, so there’s not much going on compared to this other au me and Rachel are cooking up rn >:3c

But since you asked so nicely, I will let you know Hanzo in this au is pretty much a solitary Wolfman with many animals. He finds Jesse in his forest half buried in the snow. He would have left him there if it weren’t for the baby in his arms. He takes them back to his home, and does his best to warm them up. Once Jesse comes to, he’s thankful for Hanzo’s help but him and Olives have to get going. Hanzo won’t let them because it’ll start hailing soon and they have no chance of surviving. He feeds them some good soup but still Jesse tries to leave. So, Hanzo blocks the door warning them they’ll die out there. Jesse explains he’s being hunted down, and he’ll put Hanzo in danger. Which just makes Hanzo laugh because they have a better chance of living in his home then out there. Eventually Jesse is convinced to stay for Olive’s safety. 

So basically, they get stuck in that lil cabin all winter and fall in love with each other :’) Jesse learns of Hanzo’s little secret not long after when he fends off the hunters and gets badly injured. He heals him like Hanzo did before and he gets used to dating a Wolfman. Hanzo on the other hand learns humility and to be more “human” again. Olives gets to pet Hanzo’s dogs and reindeer. It’s a good time!!

so, I wrote a quick drabble of okami!Hanzo and Jesse being husbands and being happy, its short and probably has some mistakes but I’m gonna post it before I chicken out :3

“Hanzo, c’mon you big baby, you can’t escape it forever”as Jesse walked into the room that he shared with his husband he noticed a tiny bit of said husband’s tail poking out from under their bed “I know that you wanna sleep, sugar, but if we don’t untangle the knots now, in the morning you’ll be yowling in pain”

A soft grumble made McCree smile as it came accompanied by a nose poking out from under the bed, just to sniff how close Jesse was.

“I’ll be gentle baby, promise” Hanzo puffed air from his nose before deciding that his husband was right; he always sleeps better without the tangles and the gunslinger was always gentle when brushing his fur.

Without more protests he came out from under the bed, his from making the entire frame lift a couple of inches from the floor, before he managed to drag himself out from his hiding spot.

Hanzo had never imagined that after telling Jesse about his...condition, he cowboy would stick around, Hanzo thought that all he had to offer was his grief, his curse and a lot of hair in the furniture. At first the cowboy hadn’t said anything, just nodding his head slowly before smiling and kissing the other man’s forehead with a soft “Thank you for trusting me”.

When Jesse had first seen Hanzo’s lycan transformation, his now towering height, the white fur, his even sharper than usual yellow eyes, his long clearly dangerous fangs, his only reaction had been to smile and take one of Hanzo’s wide, heavy paws before pressing it against his face and giggle as it covered him entirely.

After that it had been easier to believe that Jesse was genuinely not afraid of him, that he trusted him even in his wolf like form, no matter what. Of course even after that Hanzo tried to force his shifts as fast as he could, leaving himself exhausted, his body resenting him and his headaches bad enough to knock him out for at least a week.

With Jesse it was different. His husband helped him through every full moon (and his voluntary transformations) with his gentle hands and even gentler words, brushing his fur, scratching behind his ears or simply humming as Hanzo laid his head on the cowboy’s lap.

“Here, why don’t I sit on the bed and you can lay down on my legs so I can work on those knots of yours, yeah?” the wolf gave a nod before waiting for Jesse to make himself comfortable before throwing himself across his husband’s lap feeling the brush run through his fur as it met with its first knot “‘Kay now, stay still, pumpking”

Yes, even if Hanzo didn’t like the pulls of the brush, he wouldn't change anything about that moment, his husband humming some old song as he pampered him, surrounded with love and with relaxation, Hanzo was truly happy here, with the man he loved, in a place he was safe, with a family that loved him as much as he loved them.
