WHAT BODY PART ARE YOU?

brain:  To say you have a tendency to overthink things would be an understatement of the century. It’s the only way you can function. Spending more time with your thoughts than others because they simply don’t understand. How can you make them understand? The answer is, you can’t. Some people are beyond logic and reason, but that doesn’t mean they are lost. You are the one who is more lost than they ever are, hemming and hawing over all the choices that you don’t need to. To tell you to ignore it though and to trust your instinct would be nothing short of a waste. Stay with your thoughts, but it will not give you peace of mind.

headcanon 001 // pets ! 

alice owns a siamese cat named athena, who turns out to be her assigned wonderland guardian. though, athena has no real contact with wonderland until they open a portal and make contact with her and alice. her assignment is to protect alice from any danger in their realm. on more than a few occasions, she’s saved alice’s life unbeknownst to the woman.

the grin that cracks across her mouth, splits the skin of her lips, spreading thin. her head cants to the side at an angle that should be uncomfortable.  the  once chocolate-hued irises swirling in dizzying spirals as they fix upon the researcher, growing wide with  amusement.

𝐎𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑 𝐃𝐄 𝐋𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀.      quiet evenings.  playing the strings of a guitar.  busy days in the city.  heavy coats on cold days.  burnt orange.  the lonely sound of a harmonica.  the taste of honey on the tongue.  the cold breeze greeting you in the morning. letting your hair wild.  mixing patterns.  soft fabrics.  ancient tapestry.  finding  peace in a busy routine.  opaque lipstick.

𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐋 𝐊𝐎𝐑𝐒.      disco balls.  the thrilling bass on a song.  smiling as you walk towards the place you belong in.  loud, fun rebellion wearing fierce hats.  the wind hitting your hair locks.  leather jackets in the heat.   using fashion as a statement.  large sunglasses.  fierce haircuts.  sequin dresses.  not apologizing for your choices.  the glamour of the seventies.  wearing your party clothes to work.

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐁𝐒.     dramatic violin playing in the distance.  hiding behind a coat.  walking by yourself.  being spotlight - blind.  tragic romances.  a mysterious glare.  quiet mornings. leaving the house with no make up on.  bright colors shining in the dark. the agony before a climax.

𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐂𝐄.      pumpkins.  golden chains.  band t - shirts.  the fresh feeling of modernity.  paths that will always cross, no matter what.  not being afraid of your rebel side.  a mix of colors as messy as your feelings.  oversized coats.  wearing sunglasses to avoid looking someone in the eyes.   leather.  wearing high heels with socks.  a busy day-to-day.  the will to let go of your past and the inability to do so.

“ you didn’t have to see your  queen rutting on a common stable boy.  ”  she grimaces,   brushing through astoria’s hair, her hair becoming silkier yet strands becoming stronger with each passing of the  bristles.   after all this time with the divine,  with  creatures  one  could only hope to catch whispers about and catch glimpses of in storybooks,   her queen  still craved  the  innocence of a  mere mortal.   then again,    it’s what she’s been taught by  their  god  of tricks and deception.  what did hermes do  but  pluck  her  from  her   quiet world  and  spin her  /  craft her into one of them ?      

“  you should know better than that.  chasing after  the temptation that  hermes has warned you against.  -----do you crave to return to  the quiet mundane,  astoria?  ”
