Almond by Won Pyung Sohn follows a boy who cannot express or understand emotions and his relationship with another boy who feels almost too much. It covers family, loss, grief, love, and friendship. It's a book about emotions centered around someone who doesn't have emotions. I think this might be technically YA and the ending was tied up too neatly but I don't care.
