5⭐️s Finished!!!!!! . Story-time: I bought this book back in November. Because it is a trilogy of more than 1300 pages, I decided to read it in December. December came and I had finals so I could not read it. And then I didn't read it in January as well. Not reading this in December was when my reading slump sank in. I stopped reading, stopped using #bookstagram as well. I did read a few books but they were small, less than 200 pages contemporary novels. I cannot count the number of books I have picked up and put down since December 2021. I cannot count the number of books I promised I would read but never was able to. But finally I don't know one day, probably a week ago, I picked up this book and started it. Really loved it from the beginning but I remained cautious because I liked Kafka on the shore in the beginning but the ending confused me a lot. Now I loved this book from the beginning till the end. This is not a book I would recommend you to read as a starter to Murakami. Try reading some other of his works, probably his short stories and then pick this up.
